First of all, this serves well as a watch. That may be a strange way to begin a review of such a technological wonder, but as a watch, it is stylish and highly functional. A raise of the arm and the screen image appears, and is easily visible in sunlight. Now, given that, the Apple watch has not become an indespensible part of my life yet, but I can see that happening as the technology and features improve. While you can read the features in the watch description, I have found it quite useful as a phone. When I cannot get to my iPhone, I simply answer and talk with my watch. The callers have commented that they cannot tell the difference between my voice quality on the watch or phone. You hear the caller over the watch's speaker and it all works quite well. I also like the vibration of the watch when I have alarms, notices, or calls. That works well in a noisy environment. I like Apple's first effort at the iWatch and see it going no where but up. Hopefully that camera is coming with the next iWatch generation.

Big Power in a Small Package

Having owned a previous MacBook Air, I was ready to upgrade and decided to give the 11-inch model a go. There are many ways that I could describe the speed and power but for you gamers, I loaded WOW and after it was completely installed, it ran amazingly smoothly. The graphics are not what you would find on an NVIDIA graphics card gamer computer, but more than acceptable. I did not purchase this computer to play games but that is a good benchmark program to test the speed and overall power of a computer. With that said, I then purchased a 128GB Sandisk USB drive (the model that is almost flush with the side of the computer), and have found that I can install applications on it and they run just as quickly and smoothly as those installed on the internal memory. That is a very inexpensive way to boost the devices memory by 128GB and it also serves as a nice independent backup device should the MacBook suffer a HD failure. I also added a Speck clear cover for the machine and it adds no weight and is amazingly thin. I am impressed with the machine and delighted with the compact size and fantastic battery life. I highly recommend this device.

The Best One Yet

I started with the very early hand-held GPS by Garmin and have always found their products exceptional. I have used other GPSs and found them also quite good but I must say that this particular model is the finest unit I have ever used. It cost a little more than the other GPSs I have owned but I consider it money well spent. The screen has amazing clarity and quality. The voice-command option is very accurate. The ability to find locations by voice, or manually, is exceptional. I will be honest - I purchased this unit (shelling out a bit more than I am accustomed to for a GPS) with the very clear intention of returning it if it did not exceed my expectations. Needless to say, it has and I will be keeping it. Fantastic GPS.

I have owned a number of computers over the years and find this to be the most impressive laptop that I have ever possessed. Powerful I7, fast hybrid drive, ample internal memory and superb graphics card makes this the machine that excells in everything your can throw at it, from graphic-intense gaming to multiple applications. The size and weight is amazing for a machine of this power. Good battery life and stylish design make it a five-star winner!

At This Stage This Stylus Is Outstanding

I recently purchased the Wacom Bamboo Stylus Fineline and the Wacom Intuos Creative 2. I had read mixed reviews about both so decided to try them, with the intention of returning one. (If you read my Wacom Intuos Creative 2 review you will get the full picture). Nonetheless, I first went to the Wacom website, found the apps compatible with the stylus, downloaded them, and systematically found the best apps for drawing, taking notes, posting to Evernote, etc. I am so happy with the results that I am keeping both the Fineline and the Creative 2. Since it seems now days that each app has its own unique stylus, I thought it wise to select the Wacom and choose from the apps that support it. This was a very good strategy, which means I do not have to buy a new stylus for each app, and I can do everything I want with this one. I have found the stylus to be quite remarkable and dependable. Be sure to follow the instructions for each app to properly pair the stylus. Take a moment to get it right and you will be delighted with the results.

At This Stage It Is Outstanding

Oh how I wish for a universal pressure-sensitive stylus, but alas, there is no such thing. Instead, we are forced to purchase a separate stylus for separate applications, which is quite frustrating. I decided to take a different approach. I grabbed this Wacom stylus and went to their website to find all of the apps with which it worked on the iPad. I then downloaded each of those apps and began trying each out...one for drawing, one for note taking, etc. Ah! I found some of the apps were not so good but others were outstanding for this device. So rather than buy an app and buy a stylus, I took the reverse approach and now have a fabulous stylus that works with a number of apps which I also find outstanding. I simply offer this alternative to purchasing a separate stylus for each app. I got the stylus first (a Wacom, which is a very reliable brand) and worked backwards, matching apps to my stylus. I can now do everything with the stylus I wanted to do, from sending notes to Evernote, to creating works or art. This Stylus does it all, but you must choose from compatible apps, which actually was a rather delightful exercise and uncovered a number of jewels.

Amazing Recording Quality

I will begin by saying that my review is not based on electronic testing equipment but simply on my ears and my views. Having owned two earlier models of the Handy Recorder, and having been always totally pleased, I felt I would give this new model a go. Out of the box, you will immediately see that it is not a sony business-meeting shirt-pocket digital recorder, but rather, a serious semi-pro to pro device for quality sound recording. It comes with a sturdy plastic case, which I would definitely recommend using for transport. While the unit is not flimsy at all, it is a sophisticated electronic device and should be handled accordingly. The menu was easy to follow, having already used this brand many times before. In no time I was recording sounds around the house to test the device. With quality earphones, the playback was totally captivating. As I heard voices in the background, I had to remember whether they were recorded or someone actually speaking as I was listening. Record anything with this device, put in the earphones, sit back and close your eyes and listen, and you will be completely absorbed into what you are hearing. We focus so much today on snapshots, videos, but very little on pure sound. If you use this to simply record the sounds around you to hear again, it will be worth the price. If you plan to record your band or other live performances, you will far more than your money's worth. I see this as another amazing device allowing me to preserve all of those precious sounds around me - from my children playing to the dog barking. These too will be precious recordings in years to come, as are my photos and videos.

Excellent Quality but Just a Tad Pricey

I am perfectly happy with the filter, which I use to protect the lens of my Sony - Prosumer HDR-CX900 HD Flash Memory Camcorder. The quality of the filter appears flawless, yet it is a bit more in price than I am accustomed to paying for filters such as this. I am completely happy with the purchase and the quality. If you have a lens that needs protecting or a UV filter in general, I am certain this item will serve you well. Well designed, easily threaded onto the lens, snug fit. Excellent.

Quality Surpasses the Sale Price

Simply put, for the sale price, this is a fine camera case. Having recently purchased a Sony - Prosumer HDR-CX900 HD Flash Memory Camcorder and urgently needed some type of protective case. This camera fits perfectly into the case although the zipper pockets are not large enough for the battery charger and cable. I rarely carry a charger with me on a shoot, so that is not a problem. It is satisfactory for spare batteries or filters. I take a star away due to the pocket size - which are only large enough for batteries, filters, and memory cards. They would not be suitable for additional lenses, should you use it for a camera with interchangable lenses. For my purposes, it is the right case at the right price.

I find this case to be a perfect fit for the iPad Mini. I prefer it to the cover, since it also provides protection for both the screen and bottom of the iPad Mini. The choice is yours, but when you take your iPad out of this case, you find it in the same mint condition it was in when you first purchased it. I like that!

I imagine that a Microsoft store could help you with that but a simpler solution may be to pick up a book for beginners explaining the Surface Pro. There are some wonderful ones out there for those just getting started. Good success with your new computer. I have that model also and have very much enjoyed it.

What would you suggest buying a samsunf 2014 or a surface. My husbaand is on the computer alot watchin videos and amoazon along with a few others
I would compare the battery life of the two units you are considering. Since he likes to watch a lot of videos, the one with longer battery life may be the one for him. All the best!

Can the nook get used by a 6 year old for reading and learning purposes?
Books appropriate for all ages are available through B&N. If you want color and sound, as many children's books may offer, you should consider a color Nook, such as the Nook HD or HD+. Get a good protective case in case the child drops the device.

Yes. You will have to get the ebook in a format that Nook can read. Loading books into the Nook that are not from B&N is not a complicated task. Do a Google search and you will find many sites that explain the process, step by step.

Do all Barnes & Nobles Ebooks work on the simple touch?
Barnes & Nobles has thousands and thousands of ebooks and I would doubt that every single one will work. For example, the device would not be suitable for books where color is necessary or important to enjoy the book. Novels, history books, etc. will work just fine. I personally have yet to find a book that will not work on the Nook Simple Touch and I have literally hundreds of books.

how can u only dowload books and other media without unlimited access to internet
.I don't want middle school child to have access to internet.
You need to be somewhere where WiFi is available - such as a Barnes and Noble store, a McDonalds, a Starbucks and thousands of other locations. You can also use the WiFi in your home if you have it. There is no charge for downloading books to the Nook through WiFi.

Is This Just For Books ?
Will this work as a stand alone TABLET, without any of the book stuff ?
Most of the devices in this genre can be "rooted" and used as an android device. I am not sure about the Nook Simple Touch specifically, but out of the box it is a reader. It is not capable of playing games like Angry Birds. It is a monochrome screen so you would probably prefer a color device if you wish to play games too.

DOES IT TALK the books ?
Id like to have it READ BOOKS to me while I drive, etc,,,, Can it read the books, or is there a APP Download ?
The Nook Simple Touch cannot read a book audibly. The Nook HD and HD+ can, but the best voice I have found in a reader comes with the Kindle HD. It is not a robotic voice. Stop by Best Buy and listen to the different readers and you decide what you prefer.
