Excellent for Home or Small Business

I use it in...:Small office
This is the first wireless router that I have purchased that is not a Netgear model. I love my Netgear equipment and have no complaints, but this was easier to install with the particular business office network that I have. Honestly, it is a very simple device that does what it is advertised to do, taking care of your home or business WiFi needs. It has an guest option that allows you to provide visitors with a separate password (or password-free) WiFi access. Speaking of passwords, I would recommend that you set a password for the router and put it in a safe place. While you can reset the router if you forget the password, it is simpler if that can be avoided. Simple product, great price, and it does the job perfectly. Yes, I highly recommend.
My Best Buy number: 2654975888
What's great about it: Easy installation, dependable, compact.
What's not so great: If you forget your password, it can be a hassle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Case!
on March 25, 2013

I remember getting my first Kindle (now called the "Keyboard") and purchasing the case that Amazon offered for it. The case had metal pins in it which caused the unit to short out and was a major disaster. Well, they have now come 180 degrees with this case and created the first tablet case that I actually want to take the time to write a glowing review for. This case, for the Kindle Fire HD is truly amazing. It is as perfect as a case could be. It is a perfect fit; it is snug; it is thin; it is rugged. I am not exaggerating when I say that if it came down to purchasing a reader and I was undecided, this case would make me go with the Kindle Fire HD. It feels perfect in your hand, no snaps or zippers or velcro, yet it is nearly a dust-proof fit. Enough said for this case but it sets a new standard for tablet cases. Slip your Kindle Fire HD into one and you will see what I mean.
What's great about it: Perfect fit and outstanding quality
What's not so great: No flaws here

Very Nice Reader

I have had eReaders from the start and was delighted to upgrade to this model. I have used both Kindle and Nook and both are excellent, despite what any reviewer may say. Before deciding which to buy, go to the Nook book store at Barnes and Noble and then go to the Amazon Kindle store. Compare books and prices and make your own call. As for this reader, I frankly am very happy with it. The ink looks just a bit light with some books, but not enough to be distracting or annoying to me. The battery life is amazing and this model has a fast enough processor to navigate large-file books with speed and ease. If you are a reader or want to read more, this device is for you. The Nook HD is for you if you want to read, watch movies, check your email, view photographs, etc. If you want to read books, I recommend this model.
What's great about it: Compact, lighted screen on demand, long battery life
What's not so great: The ink looks just a bit light with some books

I Am Impressed!

Having used a GPS from the first Garmin hand-held units, I do feel qualified to weigh in on this little Magellan unit. Out of the box, it quickly found my current location and went right to work. I do recommend that you play with the menu a while, learning to adjust brightness, create and delete waypoints, etc. Once I familiarized myself with the menu system, it was off and running. I drove around in the car and noticed it accurately stayed right on the highways and had no problem getting a signal inside the vehicle. When I got home, I found it could also get a reading from inside the house. This tells me that it will probably perform quite well outdoors, despite tree coverage. This battery-operated unit (which is what you must have if you plan to use it outdoors), requires that you use the menu to set the battery type. If you set it to lithium and then put rechargeable batteries inside, you will get a reading that they are dead. Be sure to set to the type batteries you are using for accurate battery strength readings. For the price, I think it is an excellent unit. It is easy to read in sunlight, where the backlight is not needed and excellent in lowlight if you set the backlight timer to a minute or more. If you are seeking a low-price high-quality hand-held GPS for geocaching, hiking, hunting, or exploring the outdoors, I recommend this unit. Even though the battery life is quite long, do carry some extra batteries if you are headed to the woods. Happy hiking!
What's great about it: Compact with complete street and road maps
What's not so great: No complaints

Rugged Case - Nearly Bullet-Proof
on February 19, 2013

The purpose of this case is to protect your iPhone and that it does amazingly well. It is a bit tricky to figure out how to put it on the phone. It took me a couple of days to really get it right but once you know how it is done, it is quite simple to do. This rugged case includes a clear plastic face guard that snaps into place rather than sticking on the screen. I greatly prefer this since I always get bubbles with the sticky ones. This case is not waterproof, but if it is raining and you are talking on your phone outside, you will not be overly concerned about the phone. There are flaps that close to protect just about every opening. I do not recommend dropping it in a tub of water, but I doubt a little rain will ever get to your phone at all. If you like the rugged military feel, you will enjoy this case. I have had lots of comments on mine and have had others buy one after seeing mine. It is the case for me and just may e for you as well.
What's great about it: This is one rugged case
What's not so great: If you like an ultra-thin phone, forget it with this case.

Excellent MIFI in My Area
on February 10, 2013

After having tried two other mifi units I finally found this one. I returned the other two and love this one. In my area the AT&T signal is strong everywhere, which means I can turn on my peronal MIFI and use my tablets or notebook computers anywhere I go - even in the car. It has a strong receiver and outputs a strong signal making it convenient to use the computer anywhere. I revised my AT&T plan at BestBuy and now I am saving $100 a month on my bill plus now have this unit added to my account with 10GB of data monthly. I am one happy camper!
What's great about it: Long battery life and strong receiver
What's not so great: Nothing

The King for Windows RT
on February 10, 2013

If you are looking for a WIndows RT Tablet, this is hands-down the King of the hill. The excellent tablet and fantastic attachable keyboard coupled with amazing long battery life, make this the easy winner. Performance is excellent. The keyboard is so convenient that you may never wish to detach it and use the tablet as a stand-alone unit. Do note that if you want to run PC software, you do not want this because it is limited to the apps from the app store. If you want to run your PC software on a Tablet, see the new Microsoft Surface Windows 8 Pro that was released Feb. 9, 2013. If you want a Microsoft Surface Tablet, I would grab the ASUS instead with WIndows RT. It has longer batter life and is definitely more solidly constructed. Compare them for yourself.
What's great about it: You will not find a better WIndows RT Tablet
What's not so great: Nothing

Excellent!

I stood in line for an hour and a half to get this unit and must say that it was time well spent. I have owned and loved computers from the release of the first home computers by Tandy and Apple and never dreamed to see them come this far. This is a true computer in disguise as a Tabet. You can load PC programs (not just apps) into it and they run like a desktop. One of my favorite benchmark programs to load and run to test what a computer has is the online virtual world program called Second Life. Obviously it will not run on tablets and takes at least an I5 or I7 to run on a desktop. Well to my delight, it ran fast and smoothly on this PC. That is an excellent sign as to the power, speed, and versatility of this new Tablet/PC. I heard a critic say, "If you want a tablet this will not be for you and if you want a PC this will not be for you." Well let me say, that critic is wrong. If you want a Tablet it will be perfect. If you want an amazingly powerful portable PC, it will be perfect. I love PCs and I love APPLES, but honestly, this moves Microsoft back into the lead. With a 30-day return policy, you cannot go wrong! I am glad I stood in that line!
What's great about it: It is a full-blown computer in a Tablet.
What's not so great: They say the battery life is short but several hours is enough for me.

A Fun Game Gets "Funner"

Yes, it's Hot Shots back in beautiful resolution. If you have played this in earlier versions, you are sure to enjoy this upgrade. Hot Shots Golf is noted for one thing and only one thing - it is FUN! It is a light, easy to learn game, which will make you smile. Golf was never so crisp, clear, and fluid on the PSP, so thank you for the PSVITA version. If you are looking for an easy-going light-hearted golf simulation, where wind, terrain, elevation, and swing accuracy do matter, you will enjoy this game. It is a must for any PSVITA owner's library.
What's great about it: It is Hot Shots Golf at its best
What's not so great: Not a thing

Nice, Convenient & Relatively Accurate

Although I have no experience with the 1st generation of this product, I understand that it was less than stellar. This new generation product, on the other hand, is very impressive in a number of areas. Let me preface this review by saying that I have used the Striiv and Nike Fuel Band. For absolute accuracy of counting steps, the Striiv wins hands down. The Nike Fuel is terribly innacurate in counting steps, while this product by Jawbone, is somewhere in the middle. Now let's focus on the UP by Jawbone. First of all, you download an app into your smartphone and you are ready to initialize your UP and get started. Syncing involves plugging your UP into the earphone jack of your phone. I love the fact that you do not have to go to a computer to sync your data. The presentation of your data in graphs, charts, and raw numbers is very impressive. I especally like the way you put the unit into a mode to measure your sleep. It tells you how many hours you slept, how many were deep sleep and light sleep, and how many times you woke up during the night. Wow, that is quite impressive and quite accurace. During the day, your activity is measured fairly accurately. You can sync quickly to your phone at any time for instant updates. You can get into the social side by joining groups of friends to compare results and encourage one another. Overall, despite its lack of total perfection, I think it earns high marks and I am happy to have one and intend to continue using it every day - and night.
What's great about it: Syncs to iPhone via Earphone Jack; Records a lot of data.
What's not so great: Not as accurate as some I have used.

How many GB on the Samsung Galaxy 16.3 Camera?

The Samsung camera is advertised as 8GB but when you look at total memory is says 3.97. Am i misssing some memory storage somewhere?
I am not sure exactly how much memory the OS in this camera requires, but it is not an issue since I have a 64gb micro chip in the camera's memory slot.

for videos which is best camera or video camera

I want to take videos, is this camera as good as a video camera ?
This particular camera takes exceptional videos. The answer as to go with a dedicated video camera for videos or with this type camera can be answered on a case-by-case basis by simply reading the specs and comparing the video yourself.

Do you need internet connection to use this camera?

Do you need internet connection to use this camera?
You can definitely shoot pictures and videos with no internet connection. Since it doubles as a droid device, WiFi is necessary to access that aspect of the camera. With WiFi you can upload your photos and videos, download photo editing apps for manipulation of your shots, etc, but to simply take pictures and videos, no internet is required. The SD card can be placed in a computer, or you can USB the camera to a computer to get the pictures and video with no internet at all.

I am looking for...

I am looking for a 7 inch (or 8 would be okay) Ereader with the paper color/not colored with the web browser on it so I can do email and other basic internet things besides buying/trading books. I don't care the brand, but am looking to spend hopefully no more than 200, hopefully less. Does anybody have any suggestions?
The iPad would be perfect for you, but the price may be a bit over your range. It does allow you to download and read books as well as surf the internet. You may find this meets your need for both an eReader and a computer all in one purchase.

Which is better sony reader or kindle?

The sony reader is about 100 dollars more expensive than the kindle...is it really that much better?
The price on the Sony has been dropping so I am not sure that is as big an issue as it once was. Since "better" is a relative term and picking the best reader for you is highly subjective, based on your needs and desires, I would suggest that you read the reviews for the products here on the Best Buy website. I wrote on for the Sony Reader which explains how it best met my needs. I well imagine similiar reviews have been posted regarding the Kindle.
