Got this device from BestBuy. Does exactly what it is promised to do. The quality of streaming is great. Played a movie from chrome browser and the quality was superb. If this is the only smart device you have then probably this is the best value for the money spent.
I could cast my videos directly on my PS3 using the PS3 browser or control the youtube videos from my android phone. The functionality is much better with android and Ps3 combination .This doesn't mean chromecast is bad but it does not do anything different compared to other devices.
Definitely recommend this product if this is the only smart device you have at home.

Can you add a second monitor?
I dont think so. There is a HDMI out but I did not see a HDMI or VGA input ports. Please Check with Lenovo on that.

Is the processor quad - core ? SKU 2121011
Looks like it has got quad core processor in it. I use VMWare for specific purpose and I have set the VMWare to use 2 out of 4 processors available.Hope that answers the question. Lenovo should have mentioned the number of cores on the product or on prodcut description.
