If you are already safely stowed within the Hue ecosystem the $15 price point for this smart white bulb is a great buy. If you are looking for a more full featured multi-color bulb or the newer white bulbs on the market which can do more than simple dimming functions look elsewhere such as the $30 white bulb by Hue or the $50 flagship bulbs.
Otherwise this bulb is more than sufficient
