Bought this thing to access Netflix without using my DVR. My Sony DVR has buffering issues and hangs up in the middle of movies a lot. Had a few problems configuring it. Apparently my router extension dropped out while Chromecast was updating to the latest software release and it hung up. Fortunately I found the restart button on the screen. Also, it's hard to pause the movie when the phone rings... since your IPAD has usually timed out and shut off. Once working, it's really great. Makes "not smart" flat screens smarter cheaply. Hopefully Chromecast will add more stuff in the future.
