This device was not working for TRACFONE at all! I have LG and Samsung phone by Tracfone. When I tried it on my friends phones, one uses ATT and second uses US Cellular, it was working just fine! So Tracfones are for some reason turned off to the USB port or PNY must do more work to make it work on Tracfones!

Mine died after few weeks of usage and it wouldn't show up at all.
I have MANY Sandisk products and in most cases they work well, so I hope it was just a bad unit, rather than the entire SDHC 32GB cards. The Sandisk company makes great products and they are very reasonably priced as well!

If I use a FILE-MANAGER, I should be able to use the SanDisk Connect as a regular storage device! Nice mini SD memory card, purchased for a tablet. There isn't much to the card, nice, reliable and fast card.
In this case I used it in my Toshiba tablet and also tested in my phone. Test in the desktop PC and laptop was done by with the included SD adapter. I copied pictures, until it was full, for speed tests. The problem is, when one test the SD cards is the card reader, that is in my Toshiba i7 laptop, Windows 7, 64bit. The SD-CARD-READER isn't as fast as the one in my desktop PC, but it is faster than USB-2 card-reader-adapter! So the card-reader can be the bottleneck, not the card it self. ALSO, it is important to understand the sizes of the files/pictures/music/video ... because they will copy at a slightly different speed than a Word or Excel documents!

Can I use this for my home network router and network switch and home network server (QNAP TS-451 +) ??? All equipment is connected in my master bedroom closet. Thank you :)

If you have a server, it needs to have UPS for many reasons. (UPS - uninterruptible power supply)
I have Qnap server also, that has its own UPS by APC; I like APC brand very much for their quality and reliability!
Server is much more sensitive to power than a regular computer, in my opinion.
I would not put the server into a closet, because the server needs a good airflow and cool air. The closet, in most cases, has no air went and can overheat very fast!
If you need to use the closet, make sure you provide airflow and do not put the server close to the ceiling, but much lower, where the temperature is cooler. How long (minutes or hours)will fully charged backup battery run my two 6watt aquarium aquaclear water pump filters plus one 6watt air pump (18 watt total load). See attached photos for backup battery model which is APC 1080 VA.
It depends how many devices are plugged into the ports, that stay on, if the power goes off.
Most people should plug in ONLY PC, MONITOR and MODEM! Do not plug in any printers or other "hungry" devices!
If you computer is i7 and you have a Tower style PC with lots of hard drives, fast video card ... it will use much more power - so your PC will stay on much shorter than a regular inexpensive PC that doesn't have a fancy video card and one hard drive.
My APC UPS was on for about 25 minutes before the USB cable gave my PC the SHUT-DOWN-COMMAND! But we do not have power shortages or loose power more than 1x in 10 years and it is almost never any longer than few minutes!
If your house looses power for long periods of time, you should consider to purchase a small generator, that comes on automatically when your loose power . It is much less expensive than purchasing a very large UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). The more Watt Hours the UPS is, the more $$$ one must pay and the batteries last only few years, before one must replace them.

At WDC.com, if one clicks on "Products" > "External Storage", the first two shown (Top row, left to right) are "My Book (New)" and "My Book". Both are new (vs used), but the "new" one has a 3-year warranty and is formatted "exFAT". Which is this?
OK, it is just the design of the case - I have both. They also changed the controller for the USB3, so they call it NEW.
The way they format the HD isn't as important, one can change it later, when you connect it to the computer.
What OS are you using? That would give you other options, when you re-format the drive.
I wouldn't play with other than default - FOR MOST CASES - unless you understand the byte-sizes and much more than majority of the user's need to know.
One can speed up the drive by partitioning it to 1-2TB sizes, it also helps little with wasting bytes, but that is a very long explanation for today.

It should work for any desktop computer or laptop! As long as you know how to install the OS, i.e. Windows 10/7.... and have the DVD and or USB-stick with the bootable install of Windows, Ubuntu ...

Is this compatible with a Samsung Galaxy Tablet version 3?
I hope it does. The last one I bought (A Sandisk Pixtor 64GB Micro SD card. I think it was an SDXC.) wouldn't make that clicking noise indicating it fits and my tablet wouldn't read it. I had to tape the slot shut just to get it to stay in. I'd just like to know before I open up the package and end up pulling all of my hair out.
I only have Galaxy 4 and even the 64GB SD card was working correctly, despite the manual insisting that it is only excepting SD cards up to 32GB!
I would say that most 32GB SD cards should work in you Samsung device.
Make sure to format the SD card with the DEFAULT SETTINGS option that you can click on, during the format under Windows 7 or newer.

This sounds redundant but can someone tell me if it should work in my SS Galaxy Note 4? mine is red/silver & has a 1 in that U, not a 3. It keeps saying no card installed or mounted? But it's installed! I'm staring at it! I got so nuts @ it I thought maybe I didn't install it! I'm out of memory and can't get back to BB for help and somehow things are getting deleted. I think bc I was clearing data not cache? But 5 years of music is gone. I'm not tech savvy (obvie) & starting to freak. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!!!!
Many SD card slots, mainly older hardware, can't access the 32GB. I do not know if your equipment can only see a memory card sizes up to 16GB, but you can test it by PARTITIONING the 32GB SD card into TWO 16GB partitions and format the first partition only! Re-insert the SD card and test your equipment and if it works, your device can't address anything larger than 16GB.
BUT I must advice you that this does not work 100% at a time, some devices can't recognize even a partitioned SD card!
The second test is to format the SD card in your computer - make sure to use DEFAULT SETTINGS! You must click on the DEFAULT SETTINGS button during the FORMAT of the SD card. When your SD card is formatted, try to insert it again.
Third possibility is that your equipment does not like this particular brand or this model so please try a different card or brand and test both 16GB and 32GB cards!
Lastly, these MINI SD CARDS are so tiny that many people insert them incorrectly and even damage the card or the SD slot, so pay attention.
