... The quality of this extension cable definitely did not seem to be made to the same standards as the cable that came with the camera set; however, it seems to be working fine so far. Did find the price a bit high; wish it were available in a shorter length option.

Is there a loss in quality of picture the longer the cord is and the further the camera is away from DVR?
