Purchased the camera before going on a trip. It works exactly as expected, was easy to install and and produces great quality images. Configuring the camera's options, or updating its firmware, require loading its microSD on your PC and running the supplied program. It came with an 8GB SD, but I installed a 64GB card for additional storage.

Large, heavy, sturdy keyboard with high quality mechanical key switches meets all my needs. Did take some getting used to, as the keys are not laid out exactly like standard 104-key keyboards, but that was worth the effort.

If you cant see what the camera is pointing at how can you tell you are recording what you want to record.?
It is a dash cam, it is intended to capture everything in front of your car, all the time. It has no swivel, and only adjusts up and down, so it can be aimed beyond your hood. You can check the video on your computer, to make sure it's pointed correctly, and then leave it set there.

Is this dash cam GPS enabled, and are the videos georeferenced?
Use of GPS features require the purchase of optional GPS antenna. When present the camera will embed speed, time, and location data in the recorded videos.
