Decent, but not great

My employer has a health incentive, in which I get paid bonus money to be active. I bought these since they were inexpensive to give them a try. I had a few issues with them not syncing correctly early on, but that was resolved with some software updates, and I haven't had a lot of problems since, aside from the app running slowly after an update from time to time. I had to quit using the belt/pocket clip because it is just plain junk. My wife uses hers with the watch band with no issues, but I carry mine loose in the watch pocket of my pants. It works well enough that I can't complain a lot, but I don't expect it to last due to the plastic parts. I do like that fact that it is water proof, unlike so many of the more expensive options out there. I may upgrade to the Shine when this one dies on me.

I received the S7 through work first, and was so impressed with it, I decided I should upgrade my wife's phone at home. She is also very happy with the purchase. I have had less problems with this phone than any other I have owned. All phones are subject to technical problems, but this one has had only minor annoyances, and none that haven't been fixed in updates. The whole thing is very fast, and the camera is amazing, at least for a phone. I was very happy they added the additional storage back into this one. I passed on the S6 because of it's lack of storage. I have recommended this to everyone I know who was looking to upgrade in the Android family, and have even gotten some Apple folks to convert.

I won't comment on the movie itself, because my opinion of it won't affect your desire to view it or not. You either like Star Wars and this movie in particular, or you don't. I am only going to point out that this steel box is very nicely done. I am huge fan of Star Wars, so having something slightly different that the average disc set was what made me get this one. I looks very nice, and holds the discs securely in the box. Best Buy does a good job with these exclusive sets.

We moved last year and the house had a dishwasher, but it was literally the cheapest thing in all of the stores we found it in. The door was broken and would not stay up unless locked, the spinner was clunky, it didn't clean well, and it was very loud. We bought this one after owning a Whirlpool previously, and decided for the stainless steel to cut down on noise since our kitchen is just off of the living room. We couldn't be more pleased. This is the quietest washer I have had the chance to use. I realize there are probably others that are more silent, but for the money, this seems to be a very good deal, at least for us. I installed it myself, and it was very easy, much more so that my old one, and it has holes in the sides to mount into a cabinet if you have stone counter tops.

I already own the same set on DVD, but when this went on sale, I decided to upgrade my collection. I was pleased to see that it appears to contain all of the same content as the DVD set, but with better resolution. Not much more I can say that others have said beyond that. If you like BOB, then buying this is a no brainer.

Just short of being great

I bought this primarily to play music from our phones to the receiver in the living room. I was disappointed to find out it only streams audio from online sources by default. I have no intention of uploading every piece of music I own to Google just so I can stream it back to my living room. I find it hard to fathom that Google would not include the ability to play local content, which is the whole reason I bought it. I was just about to take it back, but I found a work around after doing some searching online. By using an app called Local Cast, I can send any local audio to the Chromecast over my WiFi. I admit that I may have figured out the Chromecast couldn't do this right out of the box, but I can't see a real reason for Google not to include this in their app since the hardware is clearly able to do it.

Very pleased with this TV

I did a ton of research prior to buying a new TV before I bought this one. I debated the merits of 4K on a 55" screen vs. saving some money and just buying a decent 1080 monitor instead. I won't go into the same details about feature set and such that you can already find on multiple sites. However, even after reading chart after chart about viewing distance vs. screen size and resolution, and where it drops off and becomes moot, I almost decided against this TV. However, there is clearly a difference with this one, even on 1080 content. I did a side by side comparison of a the same movie playing on both monitors at the same time, and the up-scaling engine in the XBR model brought out detail on a blu-ray that could not be seen on the 1080 TV. The triluminos panel makes a big difference in color and contrast also. There is some very slight brightness difference on the very edge of the panel, but is is so minimal, that it doesn't draw my eye to it like so many other monitors do. I may post an update here after I have had it for a couple months.

Decent monster movie

This one has taken grief from people since it was released, and while not the best movie I have seen, what's not to like about a movie with giant robots fighting monsters. I have liked this kind of thing since the first time I saw the original black and white Godzilla. Clearly this isn't the most well written script ever, but the overall movie is decent. Good visuals, and the sound is incredible on my 7.1 surround system. There is talk of another, which I personally think is good news.

Can I locate this TV on a screen porch away from the sun and rain but exposed to humidity and flimited reezing?
It is never a good idea to put a consumer grade TV outside where it will be subjected to dust and humidity, especially in a state like Georgia. I would buy or build a box to mount it in, with plenty of good ventilation to draw heat away, while also keeping dust out.
