We already have a much older Roomba in a different floor in the house and also used a different brand. The advancement in how this works is really impressive.
Initial setup was straightforward. Except for putting the moping cloth on the vacuum, everything else came ready. It even came with dirt bag already installed in the charging base and a spare bag as well.
Onboarding takes a few minutes. Already had the iRobot app installed because of the other vacuum. It detected the new vacuum and connected without any fuss.
After finding a good spot for the charging base with a good outlet, it war ready to go, or I would rather say, ready to learn.
Note that the base draws a good amount of power when emptying the trash from the vacuum into the base, and it tripped one circuit that was already loaded, so moved it elsewhere and it's been working fine.

After finding a good spot for the charging base with a good outlet, it war ready to go, or I would rather say, ready to learn.
Note that the base draws a good amount of power when emptying the trash from the vacuum into the base, and it tripped one circuit that was already loaded, so moved it elsewhere and it's been working fine.
Like a new pet, it has to be trained first. The first time or two it runs, it will start mapping the floor and rooms. It will first bump into everything with gusto, and left some visible paint marks around the vacuum from the times it went smashing the baseboards. The second time it was much gentler, and the house map started to take shape in the app.
After a few cleaning jobs, the map is more or less complete, and the phone app will eventually ask to start organizing the map into rooms. This takes a bit of effort as it might not be immediately intuitive, and in our case it got every room division incorrectly.
Once the rooms are divided, it will prompt to name the rooms, from a long list of pre-assigned names, or it can be customized.
It will then move to the next training level and start taking pictures of what it think are obstacles. The vacuum has a front camera that has a narrow view of the floor level. It doesn't see much beyond a the height of shoes. With that the app will ask if the vacuum found a new obstacle, and if it's permanent, or temporary. If permanent, it will start adding exclusion zones to the map. Some of the examples are cables and power strips it finds on the floor. Temporary obstacles can be shopping bags or socks or shoes left on the floor. It's smart enough to not go over cables, which was an annoying problem with other vacuums we used before.
Currently, once I lifted chairs off a dining table, and asked it to vacuum that room, it noticed the lack of chairs and asked if I wanted to add a new section within the room named dining table. So now I can tell it to clean around the dining table (and not necessarily all the room).

Moping: On the back of the vacuum there is a plate where the mop attaches and the vacuum lowers the mop under or lifts it as necessary. It uses Bona brand floor cleaning liquid that's held on the same dustbin within the vacuum. It does not use too much liquid so the floor dries up very quickly. The vacuum comes with two sample concentrate that has to be mixed with water. However the Bona floor cleaner available at stores is already pre-mixed so just pour it into the receptacle.
To fill the tank, remove the dustbin from the rear of the vacuum (Not on the base) and lift a rubber seal to fill it. I use a funnel to make things easier to me.
I should note that the tank does not even last for a full cleaning of our main floor that is mostly hardwood floor with some area rugs (It knows not to apply floor cleaning to rugs).

Vacuuming: It picked everything and went under cabinets without a problem. We have teenagers in the house so there is a good amount of hair to be cleaned on the floor. I was impressed that the main brushes did not get clogged with hair. In fact there was nothing else to clean from the rollers. However the first two times it ran it collected considerable amount of hair on one of its main legs and on the spinning brush it has on the front.
Cleaning the vacuum: The base does a great job of emptying the dustbin from the vacuum. As I mentioned, it's very powerful (And also very loud). Only takes a few seconds to complete though. The brushes are very easy to clean and as I said their design does not collect much hair at all. There is also a caster wheel to be cleaned but it pulls right out. Then the front-side brush will generally get some hair, and I had to unscrew it to pick all the hair from it. But things should be easier if using the vacuum consistently. The first time it will pick up a lot of dirt that the handheld vacuum missed (mostly under cabinets, sofas, etc.).
What I did not like: The liquid tank is too small in my opinion. It should be able to handle table and chair legs better. To make it worse, the tank level sensor is very inaccurate: With 1/3 tank full, it will indicate empty and won't mop.

Overall I'm very impressed. Very well designed. Note that have to give it about a week to train it to each space. The base works well at emptying the dirt from the vacuum and moping works as expected however the liquid tank is way too small in my opinion. I don't want to have to fill it every day. The phone app is very well designed. iRobot has been making improvements for years, and I'm impressed how much smarter it got since our older vacuum. Integration with Alexa is very good. Except the Alexa skill keeps asking which robot to use when it should know, but these are things that iRobot can improve over time.

Good for wired-in applications

The most interesting detail on this dash camera is that it records in 4K on the front and 1080p on the cabin. The cabin camera has an automatic IR illuminator. It also supports three channels, so one can add either a wired rear windshield camera or wired outdoor camera. Adding a 3rd camera makes all three channels record in 1080p.
The cabin camera is built-in, not detachable. I was confused because the other similar model camera V5 appears to have a detachable cabin camera.
The screen is nice. It's not a touchscreen and the buttons on the bottom of the camera are intuitive to use.
This came with a 64G memory card already plugged in.
It also comes with an SD card adapter, the lighter plug cable, two 3M adhesive mounts, some wire clips and a plastic tool to hide the cables around the interior trim.

Power: Like most dash-cameras, this uses a Mini-USB cable (It does not have a modern USB-C). Also it does not have a built-in battery. The capacitors seems to be used only to stabilize power.
This camera has a parking monitor mode but requires the 'smart hardwire kit' that is optional. It does not work with the lighter cable that comes with the camera and this extra kit is an additional purchase.
Connectivity: It has Wi-Fi with selectable 2.4 Ghz or 5 Ghz bands. The Rexing iPhone app (Also for Android, but I use an iPhone) is fairly simple but does the job. However to connect to the camera one has to go to the camera's menu and enable Wi-Fi (It goes off after every time the camera restarts), and then one has to manually switch to the camera's network. Once the app connects with the camera, I find it very responsive. Some simple functions on the camera can be set up from the app but most settings are done from the camera's menu, which is simple enough to use.
The camera accepts some voice commands (built into the camera, no phone required), although I personally have no need for that.
The camera mount is fixed, so the camera cannot be adjusted, but the lenses within the camera can be moved around to adjust it so this works fine.
Note that the camera does not come with a suction cup mount. Rexing sells one as an extra option for this model.
Night vision works well and records in color when lighting is good enough.
One major disappointment for me is that I'm leasing the car where I installed this camera so I didn't want to use the strong adhesive mount nor a hardwire, but I cannot use the parking mode without hard-wiring it, which is something I don't want to do on a leased car. Also it's not simple to swap with other cars because the suction mount does not come with the camera and it's an optional purchase.
Not using USB-C means it requires using the lighter plug that comes with the camera, but this should be used with the extra hardwire kit regardless, as a lot can happen in parking lots.
Another nit: The camera can timestamp the date on the videos but the font is quite large and includes branding.

Fun, requires a lot of practice

I like that this model is very simple. Turn it on and works. There is no phone app required to use it, no settings, just an on/off button and the charge port.
It has lights of course: The wheels have a not too bright rainbow pattern and the front has bright blue lights that also blinks when turning. Kids like the lights and it's not obnoxious to the parent.
Our two girls 13 and 14 were very excited to play with this. The first day both of them made very little progress. A lot of hand holding to get the gist of it.
Getting on is tricky because it doesn't has a mode for when one is mounting it. Stepping on one of the pedals it immediately starts running circles. One has to jump one foot and land it evenly and then quickly jump the other foot. The balancing on the board is not strong enough so it would wobble a little.
Getting off is supposed to be easy but it takes practice: The kid has to step one foot backwards on the floor and most likely the loss of balance will make the board spin, so our kids fell bum on the floor several times. That was not fun, and they almost gave up on it.
By the second day they were getting better and were able to play around a four-car driveway with little help, but always with one sibling nearby as the board doesn't hold too straight without perfect balance.

Charging is simple: It comes with a small power supply and has a sturdy 3-prong connector. The charger has a red/green light to indicate charge.
Overall I wish it was more stable and simpler to operate. Modes for boarding and getting off the board needs more work. If the kid gets the hang of it, it looks like a lot of fun.

I'm a fan of Logitech mice and we have several models in different computers through the house.
The MX series are Logitech's premier line, and so the MX Master is their flagship. Other mice I normally use are the MX Anywhere 3 for portability and I also regularly use the MX Vertical which is an ergonomic version.
The 'S' to me is for 'Silent': A distinctive new feature is that the main buttons on the mouse no longer make the 'Click' sound: They have the same satisfying tactile feedback, but they're almost silent.
Another major difference with the previous model is that this supports the new 'Bolt' transceiver as Logitech seems to be phasing out the older 'Unifying' receiver. The reasons being that the Bolt transceivers use a newer Bluetooth standard and with higher radio encryption.
Multiple keyboards and mice can be paired to a single Bolt receiver.

This is the 'Mac' version of the mouse. The differences with the 'Non Mac' version are mostly cosmetic: The Mac version has a silver finish plastic on the base instead of being all black, the charging cable is USB-C to USB-C where on the general version is USB-C to USB-A, and most importantly, it does not come with the Bolt receiver, which it does come with the non-Mac version. The adapter can be bought separately, but I happen to have one already that came with a keyboard.
A Mac will see the mouse as USB instead of Bluetooth when using the adapter, so the laptop works with it during the initial boot.
So to the many features on this mouse:

Besides the main and left buttons that feature the silent click, clicking on the top wheel acts as a middle button. Then there is another button on the center body that's configured to control the wheel spin.

While there is no software required to use the mouse, on macOS and Windows it's best to install the Logitech Option+ software that controls all the newer Logitech keyboards and mice, including the optional Bolt receiver.
All the buttons and wheels are configurable and the software supports configurable actions per application (For example, side buttons can control Mic mute and video sharing on Zoom, or page navigation gestures on Word, etc.
Both wheels are all metal, and the center wheel can be configured to ratchet, freewheel or automatically shift between ratcheting and freewheeling depending on the speed it's rotated. Internally the mouse uses magnets to control the ratcheting and one can feel when the mouse 'brakes' the wheel with its magnets.
The gestures button is something that's taking me some time to get used to: One press on the rubber body of the mouse right where the thumb rests launches mission control. Holding the button while dragging the mouse down launches App Expose. Hold and left/right changes the virtual desktops.
Ergonomics: It's a healthy middle-ground between the natural position of an ergonomic mouse but it's not flat. The angle on this mouse makes it easier to transition between the mouse and the keyboard, as the hand would rest in a similar angle.
Battery: It's rechargeable, and it charges with a standard USB-C cable. The mouse can be used while charging, but the USB-C connector is for charging only.
Multiple devices: Keyboards and mice in the MX series, this included, can be paired with three computers. The button on the base serves to switch between computer 1,2,3 or pairing.
To make this simpler, if one plans on using two or three computers side-by-side, and the computers have the Logitech Options+ installed, an optional 'Flow' mode makes switching seamless once the mouse is dragged to the edge of the monitor. It also enables Copy/Paste and file transfer. The computers have to be on the same network, and also works between Windows and macOS.

iPad: Basic mouse functionality works on iPads. No app needed. The extra buttons come with pre-defined navigation functions.
Overall: It's as good as it gets. However I would've considered the standard MX Master 3S for the sole reason that it includes the bolt receiver, so it ends up being cheaper if one plans on using it. Also I don't have a strong preference with the base painted metallic gray. The standard All-Black also complements Mac hardware very well.

Get super-portable sound to go. The XG300 wireless speaker plays as hard as you do, with up to 25 hours of battery life and IP67 waterproof and dustproof. Its rich full sound and booming bass are perfect for when you want quality audio that goes wherever you go.

There is some heft to this speaker (Around 6 lb), so it comes with a clever rubber handle that completely retracts when not used. The bazooka shape of the speaker is entirely covered in a nice looking fabric, except on the edges of the tube which has the breathing holes (Passive bass radiator) and lights.
I'm no big fan of bright lights on speakers, and here is done in a very subtle way: The lights are not very bright, and disappear when off. They can be turned off from the control app or from a button on the back. It does give a pleasing effect.
The speaker is also water and dust proof (IP67).

It has echo-canceling microphones so it can also be used as a conference speaker. I didn't have many expectations here but it actually sounds very good for phone or computer calls. I even recorded a voicemail to hear how it sounds and the audio is very clear with no echo.

I couldn't find exactly which Bluetooth codecs it uses, so I ran the developer tools on the iPhone to find that it supports SBC (Standard), AAC and ALAC.

ALAC is Sony's proprietary High bandwidth codes up to 360 kbps. As far as I know it works with Sony phones and Sony TVs, etc.
The speakers fire up front, with excellent clarity and plenty of bass. The Sony Music Center app offers an equalizer. There is a 'Mega Bass' button that controls the amount of bass. This is similar to changing the equalizer settings.
Another interesting feature is that this supports connecting to other similar speakers for stereo sound (In which you'll want another matching Sony SRS-XG300 speaker) or more speakers for a large party. For multi-speakers they have to be similar Sony speakers, and the manual says that up to 100 (!!!) speakers can be connected. It needs the 'Sony Music Center' app to control this.
Battery:
In my tests, it lasted the whole party, with plenty of charge to spare…

Fiestable: This is the 'party' app that controls the light show and helps pair the speakers and queue songs.
Overall it's a great speaker with rich sound and a great design. Not only an excellent party and outdoor speaker but something that one can use through the day with good speakerphone capabilities and line-in as well and multipoint Bluetooth.

Huge, quality display

This monitor is big: 32in diagonal, right in front of you.
Display:
The resolution is QHD (Quad-HD), or 2560 x 1440. It's not 4K, but this can be good: Less pixels till, so the graphics card doesn't have to work as hard. Having it next to my studio laptop which is 4K, and it looks great.
At this size, windows can be set to display scaling at 100%, it doesn't need to get into High density display so things just work here, with a much higher resolution, which is also great for work as it will fit a lot more content.
The display is HDR at 400 nits, so HDR videos also look very crisp.
The screen is matte, which I prefer over glossy coating because it does not produce glare. This is for work and play, not just watching videos.
Also note that has a blue light filter.

I used two different Windows 10 and Windows 11 laptops and on both the same happened: Windows will automatically install, from the Microsoft Store, the HP Omen software without asking. I found this really odd, that it doesn't ask for the install. The software lets you manage all HP gaming hardware, like this monitor it has more or less the same settings that can be set up though the OSD: Color modes (When not in HDR), refresh rate modes, bars on the screen to help one adjust the orientation of two monitors together, and a simple crosshair image. There is also a setting to have the monitor continually display the refresh rate on one corner.

Overall I really like this monitor for its excellent, very responsive display. Great size and resolution, HDR with fast refresh rates.

Very small and practical, with some compromises

The charger is very small for 65W with three ports: Two USB-C and one USB-A.
However it does not truly implement PoE distribution.
The way it works is this:
- If something is plugged on the top port, it provides 65W
- If something is then plugged on the middle USB-C port, the top port decreases to exactly 45W and the middle port to 20W.
- If something is plugged on the USB-A port, it gives it 5W and takes 5W from the middle port, so 15W to the middle port and keeping 45W to the top.
However it does not truly implement PoE distribution.

Besides this limitation, it's a very compact charger. It's a bit long but it does not take too much space on the outlet, and the power plug is foldable.

Well rounded desktop UPS

I've used UPSs both in desktop forms and in server rooms for many years so I got to understand a bit what to look for in an UPS and to me this covers it all.
- 1500VA is on the higher end for desktop UPS. These are among the ones with higher capacity. It supports up to 900W for battery backup.
- AVR: Automatic Voltage Regulation. If the power gets too low or too high (In volts), the UPS will adjust to a safe operating range without having to use the battery.
- Simulated Sine Wave: This is the AC output from the inverter. This works with desktop computers that have amore sensitive switching power supply.
- Provides 5 battery/surge protection outlets and 5 that are surge protected only. This is a common setup in this type of UPS. Outlets are well spaced out and one of each are separated farther away to accommodate power bricks.
- Batteries are fairly common 12V 9AH sealed lead-acid. The batteries are very simple to replace, among the easiest I've seen in this type of UPS. There are two simple screws on one side that hold the cover, which slides easily after pressing a tab.
- It also has one USB and one USB-C ports in the front to charge devices without using an additional power adapter. These are limited to 4 Amps though.
- Easy to read display.

CyberPower is an American company. The UPS is assembled in Philippines.
Overall I'm very pleased with this. I wish the USB-C connector provided higher watts to run a laptop or fast charge a phone without another power adapter, but other than that It seems just right with AVR and sine-wave output on a 900W system being the key features. Display is also nice.

We have several Ninja appliances including their pressure cooker and toaster which work great.

Very simple to use with very intuitive controls that are obvious the first time using it.
The 'Smart Switch' is a lever on the lid that opens and closes the vent on it. This sets the main operating mode: Rapid Cooking or Air Fry. In Air Fry mode the vent on the lid is fully open and in Rapid Cooking, it keeps a small vent so to not build much pressure.
Setting this determines which cooking options are available, and then one sets the temperature and timer.

When using the air fry mode, food did not splash on the lid so it's very easy to clean. The container and tray are non-stick and dishwasher safe.

For more cooking options, it also accepts an 8" round baking pan.

Registering this was very easy. We already had an account with Ninja, so just took the QR code with the phone and it was done in less than a minute.
It comes with a recipe book and a QR code on the cooker points to additional videos and recipes.
Overall it's very convenient. Quicker than cooking on a stove and very easy to clean.
My wife and kids have been using it through the week and happy with it. We already replaced the dedicated stir-fryer as this does more.

This is one of the top Inspirion AIO models for 2022.
We used several Inspirion models through the years. This computer is being used by one of our kids, finishing middle school.
The 27" screen is quite big. It does make a difference compared to the 24" model, although the resolution is the same.
Here are some highlights and some points to consider:

Here are some highlights and some points to consider:
The CPU is the current, 12th gen. i7, which is one of the higher-end for laptops: Like other AIO computers, it uses mostly laptop components. This is plenty powerful for everyday tasks like browsing with several open tabs, office suite, email and light gaming.
It also comes with 16 GB DDR4 RAM that is more than enough for most tasks. The memory is expandable.
Storage: This model comes with a roomy 1TB SSD, which unless one is hoarding thousands of pictures and videos will be enough. The SSD is replaceable and the computer also has an internal bay for 3.5" disks, that is ready and empty.
Video: In addition to the standard Intel video, it has a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX550 which according to Nvidia would be about twice as fast as the embedded Intel video, so in other words it's good for light gaming. It's not comparable to a dedicated gaming desktop but it's a step up from standard video.
Screen: This is a touchscreen 27", which is 1080p in resolution. Unlike other models, the screen is glass and is quite reflective. It gives out nice colors when watching videos but it can be cumbersome when it reflects too much ambient light, so this is something to consider. Also the screen is not HDR.
The keyboard and mouse that come in are wireless and require an USB adapter that will occupy one of the ports on the back. These are improved from previous models: The keyboard is more gray than the previous pure white, so it’s more forgiving with dust. The keyboard has a two-position adjustable leg and has an additional row of media/function keys that are new in this model, on top of the number section. The mouse's palm rest is positioned higher so it feels more ergonomic. It feels responsive and comfortable to use. The keyboard uses two AAA batteries and the mouse uses one AA. They come with Duracell batteries and it's not rechargeable. Based on previous experience should expect more than a year of use with the keyboard and less with the mouse.
WiFi: Uses the latest Intel hardware and supports the newest WiFi 6E standard (The E means that it supports 6Ghz routers in addition to 5 Ghz and 2.5 Ghz). Our home router does not support the newest 6 Ghz bands. The computer connected with no issues.
Webcam: The camera is capable of 1080p which is good considering many computers still only provide 720p cameras. It also supports Windows Hello which uses infrared face-scanning, similar to how newer smartphones work for a very quick auto login and other validations. I also like a lot that the camera and mic are hidden behind the screen and one has to pop it (It's spring-loaded) to use it. Once the camera is up, it can be tilted lower for better focus. This is also a new design.
Design: The new design for this year appears slimmer, with rounded edges on the sides. The front is all screen except for the belt line that is a gray plastic that also holds the speakers. The back is also a cream white, with a smooth surface.
The legs are a pair of metal triangles. It feels sturdy and are easy to put or remove. It allows for some tilting.

Speakers: Since the big screen is very adept for watching videos, the speakers are loud and clear, although I noticed it resonated too much when putting it louder.
Connections - Video: It has an HDMI output which can be used to connect to either a TV or to another monitor, to extend the desktop. It also has an HDMI-In which can be used to watch any HDMI source like a video stick or video player and but most likely intended for a game console. The computer will try to auto-detect the input when turning on, and it has a button on the bottom panel next to the power button to switch the input.
Connections - USB: There are 4 USB-A connectors on the back. Three of these are USB 3.1 Gen 1 with Power-on support. Then there is one USB 3.1 Gen2 with PowerShare. What this means is that the 'Gen 1' are standard 5 Gbps ports. 'Gen 2' is a faster 10 Gbps port. The Wake-up/Power-on support means that the computer can turn on or wake up by moving the mouse or touching the keyboard (Any key). PowerShare means it also works as a charging port when the computer is off or sleeping.
Then there is a single USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port on the left side. It does not support video out, so trying to connect an USB-C dock here will produce a warning on the screen and the video functions on the dock will not work.

Other ports: On the back there is a gigabit ethernet, a barrel type power connector, an audio-out 3.5mm port and an SD-card slot. I think the SD-card slot is hard to reach being in the back, but it's there. The power brick is quite large.
It comes with Windows 11 Home, which only took a few minutes to set up and then several more minutes going through the required Windows updates. Besides some Dell utilities and McAfee trial, which I was able to remove without much effort, doesn't come with much bloat. No unexpected 'utilities' and very clean install besides the trial antivirus.
Overall, I see improvements from last year's Inspirion, besides the faster processor: Better webcam and slimmer design, better keyboard/mouse, louder speakers.
Of concern, the case is harder to open for service. Previous models would open in seconds with minimal effort. Sometimes with no tools, but new models are not made for that. Also no longer supports VESA mounts.
Also keep in mind that although the screen is quite large, it's still 1080p with no HDR and is quite reflective.
One caveat that is hard to get over is that it offers no USB4 ports, which are now common on other computers.

It includes an Intel Core i7 processor and 12GB of RAM so that tasks are accomplished quickly and easily, and a 2TB hard drive lets you store all your data even when you have no Internet connection. A powerful 42Wh battery keeps this Dell laptop working throughout the day.
It doesn't say if there's a headphone jack, is there? I don't suppose u can get it cusromized in silver, maybe a 4k display, or that rainbow backlit keyboard gaming laptops have?

I'm upgrading from a Epson Artisan 835. Can I print directly onto a CD or DVD with the WF-3620? Which Printer would you recommend?

It uses one black ink and 3 color ink cartridges. It uses cartridges model Epson-252 or Epson-252XL.
There are other epson printers that don't use cartridges, but are initially more expensive. This one uses cartridges, and it's intended for low-volume applications.

Yes, I think it's a bit loud, but the point is to trust the machine and let it work while you're away or elsewhere in the house

It goes into pairing mode right away when nothing else is connected to them, Otherwise,, hold the button on the left earpiece (the one with the red label) for five seconds and will go into pairing mode

Does the tone free have a pass through audio feature? (Hear outside noise around you even though the ear buds are in your ear.)
No, but keep in mind it's not a noise-cancelling headphones, so can still hear some noises while wearing them.

Can I answer the phone with the earbud only, with the neckpiece?
Yes, only the left earpiece is necessary for phone calls. The neckband serves as a charging station and vibrates on incoming calls but is not required. You can get the optional charging cradle instead of the neckband.
