Excellent screen for those looking to enhance their viewing experience. I had heard about the 4K screens and had done a bit of homework to see what all the talk was about. I take landscape and close-up photography and finally a screen worthy of the high megapixel full-frame camera I use. I have actually gone back to historical photos I had taken just to see them on the new screen. I've noticed detail and subtleties I had never seen when initially processing them. I finally have a screen that gives me the "being there" feeling a landscape photographer works hard to achieve. I have had several Samsung monitors in the past and have never had an issue with them.

what is the pitch of this monitor??
At this high resolution what is the pitch? Most monitors have a pitch of about .25mm while high resolution monitors have a pitch of about .21mm. Where does this monitor stand?
According to the specs given on the Samsung site for the U28E590 (3840 X 2160) display, the pitch is:

Does the 26x19" measurement include the stand, or is that the exact size of the monitor?
I just measured the actual pixel (lit) portion of the screen -- it's about 24 1/2 X 13 1/2 minus about 1/16 in each dimension. The diagonal length is about 28", which of course can also be derived using that equation made famous by Pythagoras. That's 3480 X 2160 pixels, where the "4K" comes from the approximate pixels along the horizontal. Hope that helps.
