Disappointing

I usually like Dwayne Johnson films, but this was not a good story line and the acting was below par. It seems like not much thought went into the movie. The CG in the trailers made it seem better than it was. There was no introduction of how the people met and came together so it started out badly. My biggest fault was with the lion headpiece that kept getting in the way or falling forward. Such a large piece of the back story should have been better constructed. I have seen better made for TV movies.

Have an older version of this and purchased this one for my husband. I love the improved stand. Seems more stable and takes up less space than mine. Also easier to manipulate. Although the screen is identical in size, the smaller frame margins make it seem smaller on the desk. A great improvement from my point of view.

Great Special FX

Although I love the Transformers movies, this one is not as good as the first 3 simply because I believe the storyline moves off the original plot of the transformers too much into the human storyline of the family. It may be the different cast but this movie seems too much like a made-for-TV plot. It doesn't get really exciting until the last hour. Even so, I enjoyed the special FX when they happened.
