Purchased to replace old TV in bedroom. Picture is ok, not outstanding. Was told I may not be able to hear sound, due to sound going toward wall. Not a good design. Did not buy recommended sound bar - would have doubled cost. Sound works ok without it. I would suggest a change in design, or making sound board part of package, if needed. That feature is disappointing.

Is my player damaged - it is making a clicking noise when I put a disc in?
When I start the player it sounds like the disc is hitting something inside. I don't think I did anything to cause damage but that what it sounds like. Disc is spinning when I open the player.
Sounds damaged to me. That is why I bought the player - to replace one that was doing what you describe. Good luck! If it is new, check warranty or take it in for inspection.
