Verbatim is a top tier brand, I have used them for years and never have a failed burn. Very high quality very low error rate. I have tried other brands and usually there are failed burns with others but not with Verbatim. Best Buy always has them in stock at an excellent price. So it is a win-win for me.

I had to return this because the viewing screen is too small to see clearly the negative being digitized. A compact portable unit, but for serious digitizing of negatives you need to see what your doing. Probably OK for scanning prints, but not 35mm negatives.

I am transferring movies from my hard drive to DVDs and find the quality is excellent, And the coaster rate is very lowl. Some other more expensive brands have a much higher coaster ( failed burn ) rate.
