Great Idea, terrible product.

I wanted to transfer old home movies to digital and edit them into a more compact form. The cords worked, and editing went well until it had more than 45 seconds of video to deal with. The entire thing crashed my computer several time over several days. Mind you my computer is practically brand new with very little stored on it. I had to uninstall the program and buy another downloadable program to edit the videos. The cords work, the program does not.

What's great about it: the cords work, to bring your vhs to digital format
What's not so great: The program will crash your computer. It won't work. I had to download a video editing software.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
