Great Speakers

Verified Purchase:Yes
So far (about a month) I have been using these speakers on a computer I have setup in our living room, connected to our big screen TV. This system is used everyday, and for several hours most days. I have the speakers, computer, and TV attached to a power strip so that I can turn the power off on the entire system at night. My set of speakers did not come with an on off switch--but about a month earlier, I bought another set of the same speakers for my church. and they had the on off switch. In both cases--so far--I have had no problems turning them off at night. Sound is better than any other set of computer speakers I have purchased in the past, but they are also the most expensive ones I have ever bought. Overall, they make my entertainment system top notch for listening to movies, internet, youtube, music, etc. when compared to all previous computer speakers I have purchased over the years.
When I purchased the speakers, I wanted the Bluetooth feature, and used it quite a bit, until I was able to setup my entertainment computer. After that I plugged them directly into the computer using the mini phono plug. One weird thing that happened when I turned on my laptop--which I had previously connected to the speakers via Bluetooth--the laptop found the speakers and attached. Suddenly--even while the speakers were plugged into the running entertainment computer in the living room--the sound from the movie that was playing on the living room computer stopped. Input for sound was transferred to my laptop, so I had to break (un pair) the Bluetooth connection to my laptop, before the entertainment computer would play the sound again.
One feature I wish the speakers had was a button to turn the Bluetooth on and off, but this is not a very big problem. Just a pain to have to unpair, change the default Bluetooth device, or turn off Bluetooth all together on my laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does this device come with an aux cord to plug directly into my desktop or phone?

I have a set of these speakers hooked up to a computer in my livingroom, via the mini phono plug on the speakers. and the plug is plugged directly into the sound card input on the back. If your phone or desktop computer has the standard mini phono female input, then these will work.
