An overall fun to play game, but the gameplay can get repetitive, especially in single player. A variety of modes help keep things fresh but for me going up against friends and strangers online are what keep me playing.

Lots of fun if you enjoyed previous pokemon titles, with a lot of new ways to train and play with your pokemon. Seems to me however that there are just too many pokemon. Many feel like repeats of existing pokemon created for the sake of creating new ones.
