Would I be able to create a new partition?
If your question is about drive partition and it is possible. google it how to partition your drive. while partitioning the drive make sure you follow this way.
example:
if you are partitioning 100 GB from actual drive then use this way 1024 * 100 = 102400 MB.. so would exactly partition 100GB.
