This modem performs well and is reliable. We have had no issues in the 3 weeks we have used it. It was recommended by the Best Buy sales agent in store. The sales agents seemed to know what brands/products get returned and what customers either raved or complained about. Versatile and reliable Roku product

We are new to the world of TV streaming. But this Roku Premiere + is intuitive to use, sturdy (we have young kids, so this is important), and reliable. We were amazed that the Roku can also pause for a short bit (long enough to go the the bathroom or get something from the fridge) and rewind a short ways! Super cool! We found lots of free TV apps, and started using Direct TV Now. The only downside was the Direct TV Now app. It does not allow pausing, rewinding or fast forward. If I try, it kicks me out of the show we are watching. But that's not Roku's fault.

Excellent network set-up and explanations

Our network included: wi-fi, TV streaming services, phone, computers, home audio, and more. The Geek Squad engineer made our network set-up look easy, even though I had tried and failed to figure it out myself, as an engineer. Aaron was an excellent communicator, asking what we needed the network to do, then setting everything up accordingly. He explained the capabilities of our new network, and made numerous customizations (like multiple tiers of wi-fi, internal set-up tweaks, cell phone apps, and more). He took the time to explain what he was doing, and made sure every item in the home was optimally hooked-up to the network. Aaron exceeded our expectations in every regard. We will be using the Geek Squad again and recommending them to our new neighbors and friends. We now have a network that fits our new home, our streaming needs, and we know how to use it! Thank you Geek Squad!

We'll also add an Internet-capable TV and video components to an existing wireless network, perform any needed software or firmware updates, and configure up to two smart streaming services like Netflix or Pandora. In addition, we will program the remotes that came with your equipment, ensure that all wires and cables are neatly dressed, and make sure the workspace is clean when we finish. Geek Squad agent went above and beyond!

We had a complicated set-up, for which the TV was one component. The Geek Squad engineer analyzed our situation and needs. He hooked up everything we had, and made us a "grocery list" of additional items he recommended for us to purchase, in order to achieve all the ends we had explained to him. We went back to Best Buy, and bought the additional items. He then CAME BACK to our home and completed the set up of everything we had additionally purchased!!! We easily exchanged different home theater components at the store to upgrade, without costly trips to the post office, or time wasted calling to get a "Return Authorization", as we have had to do with online tech companies. Everything went smoothly, thanks to the Geek Squad's (Aaron) recommendations and excellent set up. We now have the home audio system of our dreams, for a very reasonable price, and without any set-up headaches. Thank you Best Buy and Geek Squad. You have earned loyal customers!

We bought this router on the recommendation of the Best Buy sales agent in store. Given our house size and wi-fi usage, he recommended this router for current and future needs. It has performed beautifully for 3 weeks now. I have not used the downloadable app yet, but as our children get older, I look forward to being able to monitor and if necessary "shut down" their internet usage via this app. They will never know why their ability to "game" incessantly all of sudden ceased for that day, lol! Recommended for families with children.
