I required certain features while looking for a monitor, including at least 23 inches, IPS, HDMI input, and brackets for mounting. When it went on sale for $199.99, I bought it. Other monitors had some but not all of these features. The trickiest to find is the brackets in back for mounting, most smaller or lower end monitors don't have it but this one does.
