What were they thinking with this band?

Bought this due to standalone GPS, Color and music capability. It was between this and the Charge 2 and the GF seemed to have so much going for it. And it looks beautiful but fit and security of the band are issues for me:
The band fastener is poorly designed and the watch face itself is a bit long in its length for me.It feels hard and a bit uncomfortable across my wrist.
I think a smaller face might work better for me. Getting it attached is a pain and the reports of it popping open seem very real now. I thought the reviews were exaggerating, but they were true.
I am not willing to see this fall off or buy things to secure it. This seems particularly peculiar as it is meant to be used for very running and exercise. You need an extra secure band I would think. I'll be returning it.
The Pros though are everything set up nicely, screen is lovely - I'd probably use a protector as I think it might scratch - connectivity was excellent. If they had just used a better strap, I think it would have been a keeper.

WAS: Constant fan noise/heat a problem for me

Revising my review "Constant fan noise/heat a problem for me" Turned off constant fan in BIOS and turned off fan (HP CoolSense) utility as well as tweaked the power settings to change system cooling to passive and min / max proc rates - runs great. I upgraded to a 500G Samsung m.2 drive and added 8GB RAM for a total of 16G.
Only comment would be that the RAM upgrade requires getting under the system board and is best done by someone used to working with machines like this. Also adjusted the gamma settings/saturation in color as I felt the screen was a bit washed out for me and the machine is just great. So glad I kept it. Speakers are so loud and front facing and that is a great plus.
