I wanted to start moving away from traditional cable (expensive, 600+ channels of c**p and nothing to watch) and go for a more 'a la carte' , on-demand service. In addition to Netflix, Roku looked like a good source of varied programming. Plugged it in, user interface was easy to grasp, user experience good. Lots of apps, but until the Time Warner (my ISP/cable) provider fully evolves into the three-way Spectrum service, some apps will not work. One thought....a power switch would be nice.

Needed a replacement printer after my Epson Workforce died. Would not turn on. Bought this one based partly on reviews but mostly on friend recommendation. Print quality is good. Only issue is most times when I print, it goes through what seems to be a head cleaning cycle. Have to wait a few minutes to print things sometimes. It's kind of big for tight areas too. Still a good deal. Replacement inks seem a bit more expensive, but also seem to last longer. I like the extra large black ink cartridge and the grey.

Bought this once I determined my mobo and chipset would support it. Installation went smoothly the second try. Do not select the recommended 'Download updates from on-line'. Just install from the disk. I had backed up my data first but encountered no problems after install, except for Office 2013 licensing. Went to Programs->Office->Repair and ran it. Problem solved. A week later, I upgraded to Office 2016. No problems.

As part of my unplanned complete entertainment center equipment upgrade, it became readily apparent I was in dire need of more modern cabling than my old system was using. This particular product was strategically placed near the equipment it could be used to connect, making it a perfect impulse buy item. Cables are sturdy and reached everything that needed to be connected. Signal quality is great. I encountered no issues after a month of use and I'm happy with the quality of this item. I have a Samsung 4K curved tv and just recently purchased this 4K blue ray player. Is it recommended to use the "BD Wise" setting?

Will this pair well with my LG 65" 4k tv model # 65UF6450? I am new to 4k and trying to understand if I will get a great picture with this DVD player if I buy 4k dvds. Also will my TV support the HDR? Not too clear on HDR either. Thanks for the help
Yes it should, Just use the appropriate HDMI connection on your TV. I have a UF8500 and it works beautifully.

I have a LG OLED55C6P I know this unit will work with my TV but LG uses Passive 3D Glasses. In an earlier question someone said that you needed to use Active 3D glasses with this Blue Ray Player. is that the case with this LG TV?
I have the passive polarized (LG Cinema 3D) glasses that came with my LG UF8500 TV and they worked beautifully. The player does not determine the type of glasses you need to view the content. Your 3D TV does. If your TV uses active 3D technology, you need to use the appropriate glasses. If it uses passive 3D, as a lot of 3D TVs do, then you use those type of glasses.

What is the best HDMI cable to use with this player and a Samsung UN55KS8500 4K tv? I'm looking for HDMI 2.0a cables.
HDMI 1.4 and up will work just fine. I bought $15.00 HDMI 14. cable and it works just fine.

How many minutes of recording does this hold
It depends. Are you talking video recordings? What quality are you recording at? HDR files are quite large - 40 minutes is about 8GB.

Yes, it works great! I did not have any problems. I have about 70GB of music and recorded HDR video on mine.
