Big fan of pressed sandwiches, this I got because I wanted a larger size "grill" and it was on sale. It worked, with some caveat.
You cannot control the heat and it is a bit colder than I need for that crispness, it just meant keeping it down longer. Also, to make an even press I used a brick on top to keep it pressed evenly.

Does not get hot enough to get that good crisp, no heat settings so nothing you should do there. You just have to leave it in for a lot longer than you expect.
I got it as a deal-of-the-day for half off, I will keep it but I would not suggest it for others.
