A while back, I purchased a toy version of this as a Halloween prop. I thought then, how much fun if it really worked. Then this came along. Looks authentic to the original series and really does work! My only complaint is the speaker is a little weak, but other than that - it's like time traveling! Now if they could only sell a real transporter!!!

I wanted the flexibility of a tablet but also a traditional keyboard. I was surprised that the only ports are on the keyboard, so you have to be attached to the keyboard to use anything via USB. Also, once removed, I found poor battery - so I returned the item. Resetting prior to return was an extreme hassle also.

I need to transfer photos from my mac power book that is system 9.2 to my hp that is windows 7. Is there a flash drive that is compatible with both?
Yes, it should work on either OS, but you can always format on your target system. Very versatile.
