So far the washer is performing well. Word of caution: try not to get any sand in it. We washed some shoes that had been to the beach months ago (some sand must have been caught under the insole). It took a while to get the sand out completely.

Working well for backing up pictures

Could not get the software to work properly (maybe due to prior versions already on the computer from previous network hard drives), but I'm using the backup program within Windows to backup the files I need on a regular basis (only really concerned about the pictures I've taken). The washer fill hoses appear to be great, but our Samsung washer had a stripped hot water line, so we have been unable to actually test the hot water line. They have a repeat service visit planned in a few days, so I am hopeful everything will be up and running at that time.

My wife is loving the top load large capacity of this washer (5 cubic feet), however we have not had an opportunity to fully test it as it came defective...the hot water connector was stripped, so we are waiting for the technicians to repair the machine. Sad, but the connector is plastic so I guess this happens. Just glad it was the Best Buy staff trying to install this and not me on my own...it would have been much more frustrating to have to make a lot of calls to get this dealt with. Best Buy took the lead on getting it repaired and even looked at issues with our recently purchased refrigerator (also from Best Buy) while they were out.

Have an Installer quickly and professionally connect your Refrigerator to an existing water supply line. We will install a manufacturer supplied water filter or new water filter, if purchased. We will also level the new appliance and demonstrate the basic operation.

The service technicians were great, however the washer's hot water connection was striped, so they could not complete the install. They will have to return on another day to fix the washer and then complete the install.

Beautiful, functional, temperature not accurate

We purchased this as an open box item on the spur of a moment while we were already buying a washing machine. We liked the look and were looking to move our old refrigerator into the garage. It was for sale at a great price and so we went for it. It looks great in the home, even though we have stainless steel for other appliances, the black stainless still fit in well. Unfortunately, even at the lowest setting (34 degrees), there are areas in the refrigerator (particularly the showcase door) that register 42 degrees. Samsung offered to send out a certified tech, but if there was nothing they could find wrong with the refrigerator, then we'd be charged a service call. Thankfully as a Best Buy elite member, we were able to get a Best Buy technician to look into the problem with temperature control/accuracy. We'll see where that goes. Much more impressed with Best Buy's commitment to customer satisfaction than I am with Samsung's.
