This is a great item to have. The extra switch is indeed worth having to control multiple lights... I like being able to press the in button multiple times to switch between you own presets for dimming. My one knock is it allows u to control all of ur hue lights together if u want... But I would like to be able to have my Hue blooms on and my whites on, be able to dim only the whites... But yet have the off button. Turn off EVERYTHING... this is not an option by default. I have read that there may be other apps that allow u to reprogram the switch, but that still isn't ideal. Maybe single press off, turns off the whites, double press turns off all the lights I want associated with the switch... As if now, you have to associate all lights to every function, so when u dim the lights all lights, even the blooms dim... Please Phillips make an adjustment.

This item doesn't get used a lot, but when I am on the road for long periods of time using my GPS on my phone, this charger allows my phone to stay on and actually catch a charge all at once... That was impressive. Sooo many of these will keep the phones power steady while using the GPS, but to be able to catch a quick charge while using the phone the whole time was a pleasant surprise. Product still works perfectly.. my one knock on it is the positioning of the bottom ledge. Leaves it open to charge the iPhone, but blocks the audio port when in portrait orientation. Still would buy and recommend.

I already have the color strip and (4) of the colored light bulbs. I understand I can't adjust color with this switch but will I beable to turn the color lights or strip on and off with this switch?
Yes. I have the color blooms and two white lights. I have them in the same room but under two different room presets... One living room and one entertainment room on the app, and if I select that I want this switch to come from both preset rooms it will do so... On, off and dim. Hope that helps... Getting the app to recognize the switch was kind of a hassle... But it works now.

Can two dimmer switches work as a three-way switch?
Yes they can... U can control 10 lights with any switch... I'm looking to buy three switches... One for each side of my downstairs for the whites... And one the is programmed TO EVERY hue light as a master off switch upstairs... They allow you to select which (room setup) you want to control with which switch.
