This Brother ADS-1500W scanner features a built-in wireless LAN that enables an easy connection to the Web. An optical resolution up to 600 x 600 dpi and 30-bit color depth ensure details and colors are accurately captured.

The scanner is fairly simple to use. It seems to deliver what was advertised on the box. The applications are descent but could use a little more improvement to function more intuitively. For example, scanned business cards don't line up very well. Older similar programs have shown that business card scanning and data collection can be streamlined to be intuitive and immediately useful. Overall, the product gets what it essentially was purchased for at a descent price.

Can I buy a printer that may NOT need a computer connection?
One of several great features on this scanner is the convenience of using it wirelessly. On a few occasions while scanning a large number of papers, the connection between my laptop and the scanner dropped, For those of us who are less computer savvy and tend to have regular computer challenges, the troubleshooting was painless in comparison to other products. I had the thing up and running quickly which proves to me the application support was well designed for this feature which makes the scanner even greater.
