I upgraded from a dual band mesh home network wifi system to this tri-band mesh network for coverage in a 3400 square foot two story home hooked up to 200 Mbps internet speed. The set up process was fairly easy using an application on my smart phone and took approximately 30 minutes to set all three routers throughout the house and that's only because of the amount of time it took the program and routers to sync and update. They only require one router to be hard lined to the modem and the other ones sit independently while also allowing an option to hard line one ethernet cable to them. Once it was set up, I could forget about ever losing wifi coverage throughout the house and it has so far been seemless. I didn't notice any difference switching from the dual band to tri-band but I imagine in a different set up and more space that may come into play more. The application was easy to use and convenient if trying to prioritize where you need the signal the most. It doesn't take much effort to change the positioning of the other routers as they just plug into a standard outlet and there's no real need to go through any syncing you do with some router extenders on the market as the application already knows when there's a Velop router in range. The app will also tell you whether it needs to be moved if it's not getting a good enough signal. I've been able to stream movies, browse the net, game over different consoles throughout the whole house with no loss of internet signal. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a great wifi set up for a large area and even in a 3000+ house it's probably over kill.

I have been using over the head wireless headphones in the gym for about two years and decided it was time for a change to something not as bulky that can also give me great sound so I decided on these. So far they have been great and fit comfortably in my ear right out of the box so I'll take that as I have average size ears. The headphones come with several different options depending on your ear size but I can't speak on behalf of those as the ones they already had on them worked perfect. On the other hand, they would not fit in my wife's ears so she needed the smaller ear bud attachments. I was surprised on how unnoticeable and lightweight the wire with the power and volume buttons would be after using over the head ones for so long. You have the option of hanging the wire in the front or back of your neck and it has a clip on them for your shirt. The sound is great with highs and lows and you can crank it up drowning out whatever is around you. Running and working out with them works great and they remained in place since they were fitted correctly. I would recommend these to anyone in the market for work out headphones however the price seemed to be a little steep especially in a market where the wire itself is starting to be obsolete, hence the four star rating instead of five.

Being that this is my first video monitoring system not installed/monitored by an alarm company, I have been pleased with the ease of the set up, installation and application features. Once out of the box, it only took a plug in of the base station hard wired to the router/modem (doesn't seem to feature a wifi option but maybe I'm just not tech savvy enough), installation of the already fully charged batteries, downloading the application, registering as a user on line and positioning of the cameras and it was up and running. The application has many options to set up alarms, customize what the system does when it senses motion, automatically turns on night vision, records a certain amount of time, as well as many other features listed on their website. The clarity of the high definition wide angle cameras and sound is good but some of the footage appears a little grainy when the subject is twenty or more feet away. You can easily position the cameras very discretely because of their size. The rounded magnetic wall mounts worked great so you don't have to be an expert in electronics or installation by any means. I actually used heavy duty double sided tape to position them throughout the house so I didn't have to drill holes in the walls. One of the perks with this system is that it includes free limited cloud storage but is also upgradable. With their free service, we are able to record and store seven days of recordings without having to pay a monitoring company or worry about taking up data since it's stored on their cloud. One of the other great options is that you can always add more cameras. The only issue I've experienced so far is the lack of audio when playing some of the video but I believe it may be an issue with the app or the device I was viewing it on because it played fine on a different device. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for an affordable option to have video surveillance or even as a baby monitor.

I recently converted from a dual band wifi router with tri-stream technology to the new Google Wifi system in an attempt to expand our wifi access throughout the house. For reference, our house a single story, 4br, 2200 sq ft. but we are moving to a two story, 3400 sq ft house and needed the extra wifi range. With our last router we were able to get high speed dual band wifi in most of our single story house without any wifi extenders. After the relatively simple installation with only having to reset everything once to get it to set up correctly, the Google Wifi uses any one of the "round pods", as I now refer to them, as your main hardlined modem access point. With the three pack, you can place the other two pods anywhere throughout your house/area that the main pod can reach which uses the main wifi signal and extends the range, similar to a wifi extender. One thing that I have noticed with Google wifi is they've seemed to perfect the wifi extension with their mesh technology allowing any of your devices (cell phones, tablets, etc.) to travel with you throughout the area with no wifi disruption. The Google Wifi app is very easy to use and has many handy features including speed testing, prioritizing internet to one area and monitoring connected devices including parental control. The pods are very unique and aesthetically appealing as most people would not notice their purpose placed throughout the house since they are not what recent wifi access points/extenders look like. Besides the lack of colors to choose from, the only downfall I have noticed thus far is the lack of Ethernet ports to hardline devices to the pods. Each pod only has one ethernet in for your modem and one out so you will have to rely heavily on the wifi signal when, in some cases, your only or better option is to have a hardline connection for internet. I would suggest using a different router set up if you need more hardline connections.

I have used several different trimmers and shavers over the years and this one encompasses everything you would want in one. Not only does it include all the attachments you would need, the convenience of it being wireless with a rechargeable battery that lasts through several uses, it is also waterproof in the shower which can be a big perk. I will tell you that I accidentally submerged it in water, which I would not recommend, and it still works. The trimmer is relatively compact and lightweight which I believe is why I dropped it in the first place. It is also very quiet. The size of the trimmer is good as it's not too big for the smaller areas and/or curves on your body you are trying to take care of. All the attachments included cover any type of shaving/trimming you can ask for. I'll admit that my wife and I have used them all for anything you can imagine just to try them out and they are very easy to swap out and use. The turbo setting came in handy to prevent any cuts that would have more than likely resulted from a slower speed trimmer. I have been very pleased with this model and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a multigroom trimmer.

The new Pixel XL smartphone by Google sets the bar in the Android market and excels in most areas with a few exceptions. Not only do the specs and hardware Google used to create their new smartphone speak for itself, the performance is noticeable from the moment you begin to use the device due to the quad-core processor speed combined with the LPDDR4 RAM. The larger 5.5 inch screen ergonomically fit my hand and worked great with the backside fingerprint reader. For those of you hesitant to go big, after using it a few days I have no regrets and will go with the bigger screen in the future as well. The aesthetics and screen are stunning and the 12.3 MP main camera absolutely lives up to the hype with sharp, colorful pictures and 1080P video even in low light. I have gone over 24 hours of moderate usage without having to charge my battery and the battery charges relatively fast when using the provided charger and USB-C cables. Another great function of the phone and it's OS is Google Assistant which I recently used on several occasions while traveling and looking for something to do or somewhere to eat. Some room for improvement are the lack of a SD card slot and that it's not waterproof. Even with those exceptions, I still believe the Pixel XL deserves a 5/5 star rating and have already recommended it to several people in the market for a new phone.

I have been through a few different Android OS smart phones over the years and this Pixel XL phone by Google sets the bar. Not only do the specs speak for themselves, the performance I have witnessed thus far have met my expectations. I upgraded from a smaller 5 inch screen to the larger 5.5 inch screen and am glad I did. For those of you hesitant to go big, after using it a few days I have no regrets and will go with the bigger screen in the future as well. I have been very pleased with the responsiveness of the phone due to the processor speed combined with the DDR memory. The aesthetics and screen are stunning in comparison to the competition on the Android market and the camera absolutely lives up to the hype with sharp, colorful pictures even in low light. The perfectly positioned fingerprint reader on the backside of the phone has really came in handy with no need to enter a password and by the time you use it your phone is up and running. Another great function of the phone and it's OS is Google Assistant which I recently used on several occasions while traveling and looking for something to do or somewhere to eat. Google also backs it's hardware with two years of customer service and Android updates. The only exceptions to my review are the lack of a SD card slot and the fact that it's not waterproof like some of the other newest smart phones on the market. Even with those exceptions, I still believe the Pixel XL deserves a 5/5 star rating and have already recommended it to several people in the market for a new phone that want to stick to or switch to an Android OS.

I had to invest in the Kinect adapter after upgrading to the Xbox One S in order to use the work out programs. It took a few tries before the sensor actually worked correctly and updated by having to unplug and replug in the adapter to reset it. I haven't tried it with my computer yet but I would assume it works the same. I would've rated it higher if I didn't have any initial issues installing it and still experience some issues with the audio when it doesn't recognize any voices giving it demands.

I switched from a Galaxy S6 edge to the Google Pixel XL, my wife has an iPhone 6, and my impressions of the Pixel thus far have been very positive with some exceptions. First off, the phone is aesthetically similar to the iPhone 7 Plus with the exception of no button on the front and a finger print sensor on the back. I found the fingerprint sensor to be actually quite useful except if it's mounted in your car, then you would have to revert to using another log in option. As soon as you use the fingerprint unlock button, which is appropriately on the middle back of the phone for your index finger, the phone is on and unlocked ready to go. The responsiveness of the phone and OS were quite noticeable due to the fast processor and DDR memory. The camera has definitely lived up to the hype and outperforms both my S6 edge and iPhone 6; the shutter speed is very fast and pictures and video are the best I've seen on a phone as noted in the professional reviews. The only downfalls are there is no micro SD card slot, which really doesn't matter to me since Google allows you to use unlimited cloud storage for your photos and video which usually take up most of the memory. If this is a concern, I would suggest opting for the 128gb version. Another downfall is the fact that it is not waterproof like the S7 and iPhone 7 which I would've expected with new technology, so maybe in the next version I suppose. Other than those two exceptions, the phone has lived up to it's expectations all around as extremely responsive, fast, beautifully designed and obviously works great with the latest Android software offered first on the only truly all Google phone on the market. And lastly, I must add, the battery lasts very long even with heavy usage and has not yet exploded... sorry Samsung, I just had to even though I enjoyed your phones until then. I still rated this phone a 5/5 star due to all the features and, to me, it's clearly the Android phone to beat and sets the bar even with the aforementioned exceptions.

Good protection, great look but a little too heavy

For those of you looking for a case that protects your ipad and does not add additional weight, this is not the case for you. It does provide decent protection and is made out of good material but really weighs your device down and is a little stiff to use. Folding it up to view movies is really stiff at first but should wear in over time. It is well made, looks fancy and provides good protection.

Do they have a microphone and can the microphone be worn in either ear
They have a microphone on the power/volume control piece that is part of the wire and hangs closer to the right ear bud side, not in the ear bud itself.
