I've had the belt clip accessory for a while and I use it a lot, i got this one to motivate me more to go for runs but I have not really used it but once. It does hold the iPhone very well but the same as the belt clip; I can't tell any good or bad in between those two; I do recommend it if you don't have any other accessory like this. I got this on sale a few weeks ago and I really love how it holds enough battery to charge my watch two times, the only things I don't like are:
-the cable rolling and unrolling is a nightmare, if you're gonna use this as your main watch stand/charger you don't have to worry about this, but if you're going to use it once in a while, then you're going to need to be very patient to go through all the process of getting out the charging cable from the base.
-if you use a case/protector on a 42 mm watch then you may need to remove it when you put it in the carrying case that has the zipper; this is depending on how bulky the case makes your watch.

i have the gold 6plus, is this cover clear enough to see it or is it more opaque
Is completely clear on the back, but the edges have extra protection that is opaque. Altought you don't really notice it.
