Breathed brand new life and punch to my system replacing a twelve plus year old Boston Acoustics sub that failed. Wireless setup is a breeze and the flexibility it offers in room placement is terrific. As long as the outlet to power it is nearby, you can put this essentially anywhere. Powered by 6 year old Yamaha Aventage receiver and Polk main, center, and rears. All sounds great together. And the Best Buy price match credit twelve days after purchase was SUPERIOR customer service. The price drop might indicate it's an end of life model but it's easily the best thing I have purchased this year! Highest marks.

Samsung Lays a Partial Egg

Internet Connectable?No
This was hung above my in-laws fireplace and at the 11th hour I discovered a complete LACK of audio outputs for hooking up the $350.00 Polk Soundbar we also bought. Shame on me for not triple checking but more shame on Samsung in this day and age for not making what seems like a MUST HAVE feature. I can assure you 60 inch TV's are not going in smaller rooms so what good are the two 10 watt speakers going to offer? This feature is part of most TVs in much smaller designs and cheaper price points and I just cannot comprehend no way to connect external audio components for enhancing the weak factory sound. Might be good for some folks but not the way I was intending to fill the sound in a larger room. Will not return and keeping soundbar for my soon to be basement TV anyway. Very bad design but usual solid picture quality from Samsung.
Choose this NETGEAR router and receive high level wireless security, the ability to share photos, music and more, and a way to keep track of your kids’ activity online. Plus, with easy installation for tablets, smartphones and computers, you’ll be able to start enjoying Wi-Fi throughout your home right away.
I have owned this router for a number of months and this is when I usually write reviews because that is the true test. My experience is CLASSIC WNDR3400 and dropped connection issues that are well documented across the internet. I am also a PC builder and not a network "noob" and I have the right experience. Router was initially a good performer but over time the mysterious wi-fi disconnects started only to be resolved by power cycling or disabling then re-enabling the wireless radio in the router browser setup. I travel a TON for work and there is nothing more bothersome than your family always calling or texting every day that the "wireless is DOWN again." If you like this then the WNDR3400 is for you. Netgear used to be rock solid but lately I have no idea what is going on with them. tech support? Forget it, worst in the business. They seem more content with taking your money and having you throw their stuff in the trash. They do NOTHING to encourage your future repeat business. Have tried a firmware update, changing my DNS servers from what my Comcast ISP provides to Google DNS, now OpenDNS, and they all still can't save the WNDR3400 from its neverending dropped connections. Frustrating is not the word to describe it. Would somebody please make a solid, reliable consumer grade wireless router? I have a new TP-LINK TL-WDR4300 arriving tomorrow. No more Netgear for me.
What's great about it: Small footprint, internal antenna

This is my first device of this type since my old dedicated tuner went away with the vehicle I just traded away. I added this to a newer model 2008 Honda and running it through the auxiliary input under the 12 volt power adapter which supposedly is the best way to go. I also had the installer bypass the 12 volt power plug and had power hard wired and hidden for the device for a cleaner look. Controls are simple, presets are limited but not a big deal, the display is simple and clean. Nice to have adjust-ability of the screen colors to suit your vehicle's instrument panel. Sound is nice and clean and at good volume (even though I have yet to replace the factory radio). So, for now, I am impressed and we will see how it holds up over time with fairly heavy use as I drive a minimum of 25K per year so this will get a workout. So far I can say NICE PRODUCT and glad I have the input that keeps me from using it on an FM frequency which is often a frustrating experience.
What's great about it: Price, nice display, adjustable colors.
