Solid quality, but challenges with Audio

So overall this is a good head set. Comes with all the options to get it connected to the computer. With a dedicated dongle, or using the native blue tooth.
Light weight, have worn for hours at a time, with no issues on the neck or head.
Battery is long lasting, I can go two typical work days without charging. Uses the updated USB-C interface for a charge. Nice feature is when you power it on, gives you an estimate life left on the battery.
The mic is small, so doesn't get into your visual direction, but also can't get it close to your mouth for those "I can't hear you moments". You can lift it up to mute, or you can hit the very tiny button on the arm to mute it.
But what is missing, is a visual indicator that you are muted or not muted. That does come in handy when on calls the entire day.
I like that the ear pieces are connected by a cloth external wire, and not hidden in side the physical head Gera. that leads less chance fo them to get pinched or broken.
My other negative, is that I don't like the "hear your self" in the headset. What I say, there is the slight echo in the headset. Nothing I have tried has gotten rid of it. I have gotten used to it, but you can audible hear it.
Pairing takes a bit longer then some of my other headsets... but we are talking just a few seconds longer, nothing terrible. It comes into play, when I get that unexpected Teams call, after I have shut the headset down.
Overall... not a bad option, especially if you have multiple systems that you want to connect it with... and need the dongles... and the long lasting battery.

Simple, straight to the point... these work.
The color on this is nice, as it is easy to find in the drawer and on the counter. They are durable, as they have hit the tile floor many times, and are still exactly as they were.
They are even, and pinch completely to grab all the stubborn hairs and tightly.
A good value, a good product.

Years of purchasing blue tooth speakers, big and small. This one here, is by far the best large speaker I have gotten.
This is not a tiny backpack speaker, this one is 2ft tall, and has some weight to it. So it isn't going to get blow off the table, or just easily knocked over.
Built in battery for 20hrs. I haven't tried more then 10hrs yet, and this is simply working awesome. The built in USB, that allows me to charge my phone at the same time is great... especially away from home.
Pairs via blue tooth in a short few seconds, and you are ready to go.
Now for the important stuff... sound. OMG, the bass. Deep verberating, and just rocked my deck. You have your favorite songs, fire it up... and the entire block is going to know you are jamming. LOUD. Full volume is going to be WAY too much for most.. So you are going to have no problem to host with this bad boy.
The light system is slick, adds a little touch. Muted and faded, but noticeable. And with the easy to use app, you can change the colors or turn them off.
I am looking forward to get another one, so I can do the party link. But that is going to take some time. But when that comes, this is easily going to replace any need to have mounted outdoor speakers on the deck.
Need the tunes? Get the speaker.

So a great light weight ear bud style head phone.
Perfect for the workouts, outdoor usage... or where ever you need tunes while you do something.
Easy to charge, Easy to pair up. And frankly they just work.
Good sound for most. Audiophiles may find them lacking in some areas, but then again if you are looking for very loud and encompassing sound, you are not looking at ear buds.
I still haven't been able to run out the battery after several hours of usage. So for just about anyone these are going to be perfect.

Will be good for most, and great value
on June 12, 2021

For some security gives piece of mind, for others it is necessary... what ever your reason for looking at this system... this may fit the bill.
First the value... at this price point, you are getting a complete system with four cameras, for less then some of the other brands for just 1 single camera.
In the package you are getting the complete kit. A DVR system with 1TB of storage, which will cover you for days and days of recordings. 4 Cameras, and 60ft cables for each camera, and the power adapters.
Installation for most will be pretty straight forward. The challenge is if you are running outdoors, is to get the hole drilled for the wire, and then sealing it back up. Each camera comes with it's mount, just utilizes the appropriate screws for each installation (brick, wood, siding, etc, check with your local hardware store for the best way to mount to your surface).
BNC connectors for the video, which if you are not familiar, are designed to not just "fall off". They push then twist, and stay tight. This is good, as it keeps the connection tight, and other things from happing. (the wire getting pulled etc). the single cable also carries the power, from insight. Which is a GREAT advantage to some of the competitors, which the power adapter is a totally separate wire.
Single adapter will power 4 cameras, and another adapter will power your DVR. This is great for power consumption, and wiring... as it you won't need a massive power strip.
So depending on your settings setup can take a few hours, to get those cables tucked away and neat, and tight. But once it is setup, you are just about ready and done.
Connect to the DVR (Same twist and connect), power it up... and walk through the setup, and you are up and viewing video.
You can add the system to your home entertainment center via HDMI, and the DVR looks nice with the rest of your equipment. not bulky or industrial looking. (almost looks like a modern gaming system).
You have modes to view the video, one at a time. multiple one the screen... however you want to view it. The picture is great in the daylight, full HD quality, will give you a clear view of what is going on. And since this is wired in... no buffering, no degradation or breaks in wireless signs. just a consistent good picture.
Night view is good to. You can only do so much at night, but this camera makes the most of it, and you will catch the critters and creeps on your property.
Best part, this kit can expand to four more cameras, when you are ready.
So if you are looking to secure your home or business. Indoors or out... this unit may be the best solution for you.

Near Perfect... great on the boat
on June 1, 2021

So... we got this to use on our pontoon boat. The stereo in the boat was never any good, and we were just looking for a modern solution.
So off the bat, this has some heft to it. not light, doesn't just get wicked away. But is very stable. In any position. Horizonal or vertical, works great.
The sounds is seriously clear. good deep base for this type of unit, and get very loud. Loud enough to compensate for the noise of the outboard motor on the boat.
Piece of cake to connect to the phone using standard blue tooth mechanism.
So far haven't even got it to drop below the 2nd power dot, and that is running it for several hours a day over the weekend.
Water resistant which is fantastic.
As for the lights, really don't see them in the daylight, maybe in the evening... but almost non existent to us during the day.
The ONLY thing I found so far as a negative, is that it uses a proprietary adapter for charging. I wish it would have used a USB-C or some other commonly available format, and not it's own dedicated adapter.
Especially from Anker, which I have many of their cables and adapters for already

These are FANTASTIC

Simply put, I wish I got these a year ago... would have saved sooo much weight on my neck.
These are extremely light weight, and sleek. not a lot of bulk.
Very easy to pair (one button), turn on and off with one button.
I use these with my MacBook, and they seamlessly work with Teams, Zoom, and just about anything else I have tried them with.
The microphone is easy to position, up and down, and up mutes it. A simple center ear button turns the mic on and off as well.
Battery life. I haven't drained it yet. I leave it on for almost 2 full days, and still has power. Uses the current USB-C cable that comes with it, and charges quickly.
The voices are clear and easy to hear. These are NOT music headphones (and wasn't expecting them to be). So for videos and other items, you may not get the deep sound you want, but it would be adequate.
For what they are at the price point... home run

Good Monitor, but not for multi-computers
on May 19, 2021
Posted by: Ebonovic
from Tinley Park, IL
So I really really wanted to love this monitor, and it has some amazing features to it, but just came up a bit short for my usage...
This monitor is VERY lightweight for it size, which is nice. Simple stand is include, or you can get a 3rd party mounting arm/bracket. You should have no issues with any VESA mount for this, and be able to use the monitor horizontal, or if you have the space... vertical.
Simple power cord design, nothing unique or crazy, just connects right to the monitor with no separate monitor, which makes cable management a breeze.
Connectivty: HDMI or DisplayPort. So you can go with either method depending on your video card support.
So I tested these with my 2019 Mac mini, and 2019 Mac Book Pro. When directly connected (key phrase, for my updates later), I had a good experience with the monitor. it allowed for a very high resolution, which resulted in tiny icons and text. So if you have good eyes, you will get massive screen space to work with.
I could NOT get the monitor to support 2560x1440 scaled resolution which the monitor I was replacing was maxed out. that was a good compromise between the max resolution of this one, and the standard HD 1920 resolution. Not sure if that was because neither Mac could communicate with the monitor properly to get that resolution, or it just was not supported. This was with both Catilina on one and Big Sur on another.
The screen is "darker" then other monitors. Even at full brightness, I found the screen to be dark. I am in a fully lighted office with natural and artificial light sources, and at 100% brightness, the screen at it's high resolution was still dark to me.
I did not test the audio outputs of the monitor, as I have dedicated speakers for output.
My main issue with the monitor, is while it did work very well when single connected to a computer, and using it's built in PIP functions. It does NOT like being connected to any type of KVM. (Keyboard Video Mouse switch).
In my office I have 3 computers, two Macs and a Windows.
I started with my IOGear DisplayPort KVM, which has been working fine for years with multiple monitors and computers over the time.
Nothing I could do would get this monitor to display when connected via the DisplayPort KVM. I tried new cables, with no adapters, with a new docking port. Simply would not show a picture and sync with the computer.
So I purchase an HDMI 4K based KVM.. and it DID work via HDMI. However. Since the HDMI signal would not go to 60hz, every single time I switched computers, I would get a nag on the screen that I was not at the Optimal resolution.. .and that I should switch. The max the computer through HDMI and the switch would go is 30hz, so I couldn't go any higher.
There was no option in the monitor menu, to turn this nag message off. After two days, of every single time I switched computers having to manually dismiss this warning, I gave up... I will be moving this monitor to another computer setup we have in the house, and I will be putting my old monitor back at my desk.
So this is a good monitor for most, and most won't have any issues. But for me, just missed the mark.

A new evolution in imagery and fun
on May 4, 2021
Posted by: Ebonovic
from Tinley Park, IL
I really got into drone flying several years ago, with DJI's release of the Phantom 3 Pro. The freedom and the new video and pictures that I was able to capture, were absolutely amazing.
BUT it's size and weight was a limitation... but no more. This is the upgrade that I have been waiting for.
The DJI Air 2S is an entirely new bird, and really is the size of a bird.
The first time setup, takes about 1 hour. To get it unpackaged, first battery charged up, and to get all the firmware updates done. Gives you some time to just admire this little thing.
It took me a few minutes to find the iPhone connecting wire.. .it is there, but it is pre-installed in the controller. Right where it will be used. I was able to add my iPhone 11 Pro, right to the controller with no problem. Fits like a glove, and really is the perfect size to companion with the very light and compact controller.
The elegant design of just being able to unscrew the joysticks, and stash them away... and every detail about making this controller compact, but very function was well thought out. You have your X, Y, Z axis controllers right where they should be on your two thumbs. Your index fingers control the angle of your camera, and the shutter on the camera.
Extra options to use the auto-return to home feature and landing. This is a great feature DJI adds, that will return your drone to where it took off.
Now for the drone itself. So compact... about the size of 4 bananas 2x2 (no joke, that is how big this is). compact and small, but unfolded it is ready to go. The props are simple press in and twist. One negative, is the camera cover. It is a little awkward to get on and off, and I am always concerned I am going to break the camera. I have gotten used to it, but still it is temperamental.
The battery is compact and long lasting. I was able to fly over 15 minutes, without even being concerned on the battery. It snaps right in, and there is no mistaking if it is in or not, as it is also the power button.
While the drone is not silent, it isn't overly loud. You are not sneaking up on anyone, but you are not going to be a big disturbance either.
The full inclusive kit is AWESOME. Comes with the carrying case, a total of 3 batteries, A Serial charging kit (so you can charge all the batteries in a row without swapping), 3 full sets of props, camera filters, the controller, and charger. It also has the wires for Android and other popular devices.
Now comparing this to my P3P. Just look at the pictures and see the size different. The P3P was a full bulky backpack, and wasn't very convent. This new one, I am going to be able to take camping with me and out with the scouts, and just bring along on trips and have with me.
The physical size... this is where the Air2S had a little challenge. Over the last two weekend, we had wind conditions. So I limited the flying, as it was causing the drone to work really hard to keep it's position which it did. The video was still spot on and smooth, and the picture didn't wobble around.
The speed, this little baby can move. While it isn't as fast as a racing drone, it can move... it can go up and down in a blink, and change directions on a dime. Experienced flyers are going to have a good time with some of the new maneuvers.
This generation of drone also have crash avoidance systems and warnings. While I didn't have to engage them, they did start to yell at me I was getting a little close to things.
The DJI software is also top notch. at one point while flying, a low flying aircraft came into range, and the software warned me... BEFORE I could hear the aircraft. While I was still well under 400ft, I found it awesome that I have that option now and can utilize it for better safety all around.
I am looking forward to the next many months to push this little fantastic system to the limits, and see what else it can do.
From taking landscape, artistic, functional, and all sorts of other imagery... this is the drone you have been waiting for.

Easy To Use, but takes time to see impact
on April 7, 2021
Posted by: Ebonovic
from Tinley Park, IL
So this is not your average item you pick up from Best Buy.
Do your research and understand what this is, and what the process is going to be like.
So starting with the good: This is a very very easy product to work with, and you will see results if you are patient.
As the instruction tell you right out of the gate, you won't see significant results until after 4 weeks, possibly as many of 6. And that is true with my experience.
You only use the system 1 time a week, not daily.
Depending on the area you are using this on, it may only take you 1-2 minutes to complete a cycle.
There is prep work though, the areas this is used on must be shaved first, but you will find as the weeks go on... less and less growth is there, and less and less to shave... that is the point of the system.
When you first use it, you are going to be startled a bit. It is a hot blast. It will possibly "sting" but it only last a few seconds, and really is just startling the first time... after that usage, you will know what is coming and mentally be prepared.
The other down side, is that depending on your bathroom configuration, it may be difficult to plug in. It is a short power cord, but a long cord to the device. If you don't have a counter near by your outlet, you may have to bring a chair. BE SAFE when plugging it in... make sure it is a GFCI outlet for safety reasons, near water.
I do wish the power unit, had some rubber feet (which I can add), to keep it from sliding off my counter top.
Usage is very easy. Press against the skin, you will see the light indicator change.. push button... repeat. doesn't get much easier.
Storage.. .right now, I have still kept the box in the bathroom, to put this away in after each usage. Would like to see a soft bag or something added, so I can use that... instead of the box, since this really just needs to be brought out once a week..
The manual... it is a lot of pages of warnings, and when you read that... you may get concerned. but if you again understand what this device is, you will see why there are so many warnings. The biggest problem with the manual, the print is VERY tiny and faded. I found myself, taking pictures with my phone, so I could zoom in on the pages.
I think it would be beneficial to have an online manual version, and or YouTube videos showing the usage.
Last downside... given that you will not see any noticeable impact for 4-5 weeks, that will be beyond the standard Best Buy return policy. but you see some noticeable changes in a few weeks, just not complete changes.
I know that sounds like a lot of downsides, but they are all pretty minor, hence the 4 stars. If this is the result you are looking for, then this particular system will be a very good option.

Incorrect info. No 3D
By Leroythedog
I was already to buy this TV- seems to be GREAT price!
BUT - IT DOES NOT HAVE 3D. Luckily, this was pointed out by the salesman. He told me that he had even called Samsung to check, and there is a misprint in the specifications,
If you don't want 3D, this would be great, but it doesn't work for me.

3D Ready

Per Samsung's site, it states as 3D Ready.
Which means you just need the other equipment (separate), glasses, Blu-ray player, and material source
Glasses are about $20 each.
But the TV is a 3D compatible TV
