I like the stove so far but lets start with the stuff I hate. The Huge control panel is very kool BUT its plastic and not glass. It takes 19 min for the convection bake to reach 400 degrees. The regular bake was 10 minutes to 400. I called LG 3 times and all I got was between 10-20 min is normal. I was going to return the stove until I found out all the new stoves are the same. I called Whirlpool to ask them and they explained that the energy conservation people recommended to save energy that the broiler element NOT be used during preheating . Dont make since to me . The ready alarm is kinda on the low side. The storage drawer needs more structure, it feels very flimsy. I did read some really bad reviews for LG stoves that scared me into purchasing a 219.99 5 year warranty for my 749.99 stove. The cost to me was a LOT . Broiler pans and the cord DO NOT come with the stove and are an extra cost. Cord was $23.00 I just kept my old pans so they were FREE :)
The likes : This was the best designed control panel I seen on any brand with the HUGE digital control panel even though I wish it had glass touch tech. The oven size is HUGE. I like the blue oven coating. It came with 3 wire racks. The burners are powerful and heat very fast. The oven cooked great. I'm still testing the convection setting .
Wish list : I wanted 2 6/9 inch dual burners. You have to go to $1200 to get that. Full Glass touchscreen on control panel would be AWESOME. I called LG and they say glass is only on the GAS stoves. So far I like it and with the SUPER expensive best-buy 219.99 5 year warranty I feel a little better if it explodes i will get a new one.
PS ----- Best Buy says in their specifications that the stove has a 5 years limited: cook-top and radiant service units and according to LG that's not true. Warranty is only 1 year on both parts and labor .
