Quieter than expected

Required a new ac since 15 year old panasonic stopped cooling properly. Wait for a lower price.

Cools quickly and its obvious frigidaire is producing quieter units. My 2014 frigidaire 8000btu unit is noisier.

In energy saver mode does the entire unit shut down when set point is reached?

yes. unit shuts down completely.
