Great sound in small footprint

Purchased this for my son's use. He is very rough on portable speakers; transporting them for both indoor and outdoor use. This has been a very durable design. The sound quality is better than most in the size footprint and price range. The bass does not seem overpowering and/or distorted as other I have seen. The only drawback is on the high end not as crisp however for most musical taste or playback environments it's not an issue. There are better speakers out there however you'll spend twice as much.

Inexpensive way to enter the streaming world

Bought this product to use in spare bedroom, after having 2 other higher cost Roku's (4K models). If you need something that delivers 1080, not worried about 4K, this is the inexpensive option. I can tell slight performance difference to the higher cost versions however once the show stream starts I can not.

This product is about like any other Apple product, a few nice upgrade features from previous model however never really head and shoulders improvement. I replaced an IPad Mini 2 with this and it is faster, thinner, better screen and include the fingerprint reader. All nice features however it leave me wondering was it worth the cost to upgrade. I got mine for $100 off on sale, so if not replacing a previous mimi or a version 1 I would say great deal however if you are as me replacing a version 2 or later you will be left questioning was it worth it. The only answer I can give is I don't know.

Can I download Direct Tv app and watch shows that I would normally watch on Direct TV. Like Food Network, HGTV, AMC, FX, SYFy, etc. I know I there are premium channel apps like HBO, Showtime, etc but im talking about signing in to my Dirrect TV acct
There is not a Direct TV app on Roku, you can download Direct TV Now (it's a pay service that is an additional monthly charge). That being said there are a number of channels "apps that you can download and install using you Direct TV account login. Most are like a on demand service however a few do stream live content. You can review the Roku channel store and it will give you a good idea of what's available (they usually say something like "included with cable subscription") .
