I purchased this item in hopes to expand both my 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz ranges from my ISP provided Modem/Router combo unit. I was not disappointed. This thing works awesome. I tried the whole-home mesh network prior to this, but it didn't suit my needs. This one does the trick very well and you can have multiple named networks as well as guest networks. If in range, I always prefer to connect to the 5Ghz and this allows me to do so.

Ok, but not great

I purchased this product because of a recommendation from a Best Buy employee. I was looking to get a larger 5Ghz network area coverage so I could take advantage of my 300+ MB download speeds that I am paying for through Spectrum. This mesh network definitely provided me with a larger coverage area, but it always seemed to go to the 2.4 Ghz because that signal was always stronger. The other thing that is not great about this (at least for me) is the fact that there are only 2 Ethernet ports on each router. I would definitely prefer to have more without having to purchase a Swtch to go through.
Positive: It did provide a much larger coverage area than the Spectrum provided Modem/router combo.
Negative: this mesh network automatically swithes between 2.4 and 5G bands. This may be great for some people, but didn't work so great for me. I prefer to have 2 separate named networks (one for the 2.4 and one for the 5) that I can connect to and this is not possible with this system.

Pretty good Adapter

I purchased this adapter due to an issue I was having with my laptops wifi connection - it has been intermittent and kind of slow. This seemed to speed things right along. I am on a 300 MB download plan and am now getting anywhere between 125MB and 175MB. I am not sure why I am not getting the full 300+ MB as I do when I connect other laptops via Ethernet.

I started with the initial Light Strip to "check it out". Once I got it installed and placed where I wanted it, there was no turning back. I was a little skeptical about where to place it, but I decided on top of my kitchen cabinets as a test and it looks great. The lights add an entire new dimension to my kitchen. The extesions allow me to get it set to the proper length. The only question I have is where will I put the next set of these that I purchase.

I was curious if this device lived "up to the hype", so I did some research and eventually decided to purchase this product. I am using this as a replacement for a cable box on one of my older TV's. Soap Opera Effect/Deep blacks?
Does this TV have "Soap Opera" effect or bad motion blurs? Also, are the blacks really deep? I really love my old Plasma but know I eventually need to upgrade. I haven't seen an LED come close to plasma with true blacks and cinema quality.
Hey Steve. Sorry to respond so late. There are so many options on this TV it is incredible. There is a setting that will allow the TV to have a "Soap Opera" effect, but there are also settings that will take that away and still have the realistic view and effect. Again, with the settings - I set mine up to have excellent black color depth while maintaining excellent brights and contrasts. It has been my experience so far that the settings make all the difference - there are numerous pre-defined settings, but you can also set it up exactly how you want - I use different settings for different viewings (ex: movies vs. sports).
