Does what I need it to do

Bought this for my sister, who has a N600 dual band router. She wanted a small repeater/extender like my parents, so I had the choice of this at $72, or the N600 WN3500RP at $100... I do not know why the N600 extender is $100 and this is $72 when ac future proofs my sister's network a little... for less.
Anyways, set it up for my sis, both bands work on 802.11 n, so it effectively extends her range.
Warning with repeaters/extenders: They work at 50% efficiency AT BEST, so expect them to cut your bandwidth by a lot. My sister was having problems connecting to wifi in her basement (long story short, treadmill is in the basement, she uses pandora while running on it). Her iPod connects perfectly and doesn't get lag on the streaming music, so it serves her purpose.
If you need bandwidth for something more robust (Netflix, Gaming), you may want to consider putting the money ($72-100) towards buying a new router with extended range, and redoing your network so the router is closer to the thing that needs the most bandwidth.
Not a knock on repeaters/extenders, just fair warning so you don't waste money on the wrong solution for your network.

I had an old motorola surfboard 5101 DOCSIS 2.0 cable modem, my ISP upgraded my speed and recommended a DOCSIS 3.0 so I chose this. I saw an immediate performance increase, and it seems like my internet is more stable.
Been using motorola surfboard cable modems since my college days, sure it is ARRIS right now, but there is a reason they kept the name... That reason is marketing. Don't let me downplay it, this modem lives up to its lineage. Perfect if you need a DOCSIS 3.0

More than just a second playthrough

I'll try to avoid spoilers as much as possible in this review... somewhat hard to with the extras that are included.
First thing... it is a Pokemon game. They've been making them for long enough that most people know what they are signing up for. A "kids game" that has some excellent RPG elements to it. Gotta Catch em All. Weaken your opponent, POKEBALL GO!
Second thing, it gives you the complete Ruby/Sapphire experience. Full game, second playthrough. If you liked it 12 years ago, you'll appreciate experiencing it in 3D with the updated character models, and mega evolutions of some of your favorite pokemon.
The real reason I gave this 5 stars is the additional content they added. Without spoiling too much, I will say that you can get EVERYTHING you got in original Ruby/Sapphire... and they add some additional content in the Delta Episode (you'll know it when you get to it).

I owned The Last of Us on PS3, played the game to death. This was an excellent second playthrough, and has all of the DLC that was on the original game. I am not sure if it is worth the full $60 (I bought GTA 5 around the same time... THAT was worth $60 even with the second playthrough), but I am not going to let that tarnish my rating for one of the best games I have ever played.
If you haven't played this on PS3, buy it on PS4 now.
If you have played it on PS3, and didn't get the DLC, wait for a sale (maybe to match the DLC price), but it is worth it for that.

It is hard to recommend for someone who already bought all the DLC on PS3. It is a graphical upgrade, and doesn't make your system sound like it is going to overheat and explode... but that's all I got. I got it on sale for $25, which is only a little over what the DLC packs were (graphical upgrade was worth the extra few dollars)

Perspective of an owner of the PS3 version

I was originally skeptical about paying full price for a rereleased game... but Rockstar definitely delivered! I have played through the game on PS3, so this was an xmas present to myself.
First things first, THIS is the real version of GTA 5. The PS3 version worked, but this one really takes it to the Nth degree. More people on the street, more cars in traffic, more little things (animals, blades of grass) in nature.
First person perspective changes gameplay a lot, makes the game harder as well (when you're in cover, you can't see enemies), it also makes parallel parking much harder.
If you have never played GTA 5, buy this game.
If you have played GTA 5 on PS3/360 and liked it, buy this game.
If you have played GTA 5 and didn't like it... wait for a sale, then buy this game. The extra polish and attention to detail may sway you.

My parents had some issues connecting their cell phones to the WiFi in certain areas of their house, this solved the problem. Setup is somewhat easy (remember to do the first step sitting next to the router so they sync... I misread that step), and it worked as intended after I set it up. Parents can now connect to the extended network from their bedroom.
Warning: Like any repeater/extender, there will be signal loss when using this product. Most repeaters lose about 50% bandwidth AT BEST, most of the time the signal loss is higher. If you are spending $50-80 on an extender, you may want to consider buying a more robust router with larger range (use the $50-80 towards that)
In my case, it was just for cell phones (low bandwidth requirement), and for my parents who are both seniors (even lower bandwidth requirement). It served the purpose I needed for it.

I was expecting the normal short cable that comes with the PS4, this one is a little longer. Yes, I can read the box, it clearly states 6.5 ft, but I was pleasantly surprised this is longer.
If you have someone who "forgets" to plug controllers in, the ability to charge two at a time is invaluable.
This all being said, there's really nothing special about the cable. It does exactly what I want it to do.

The only way to check this is by checking with Cox for compatible modems. If it is on their list, it is compatible. You can call them, or check their website.
It is a pain in the butt to locate on their website, but it is there. I have Cox in Ohio, and I had to use their speed calculator to get access to the link.
I will say that if you are DOCSIS 3.0 compatible, get a DOCSIS 3.0 modem ASAP. It really does improve your speed, plus it made my internet connection stronger and more reliable.

The universal is N300 single band (2.4 GHz), can do 802.11 b/g/n and can go up to 300mbps speed.
The AC750 can do 2.4 GHz and 5.0 GHz, can do 802.11 b/g/n/ac, and can do 750 mbps speed.
Check your router to see what it can do, compare it to the specs on these. For example, if you have a N600 dual band router (2.4 and 5.0 GHz), the N300 extender will only work on the 2.4 GHz frequency.
N600 router with the AC750, it will see 802.11 n from the router, and can be dual band (2.4 and 5.0 GHz). N600 cannot broadcast ac, so you would not use that benefit.
