I needed to get my Kid's ps4 off the family room tv and into his room. I got a good deal on this tv and the kid loves the set. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the funny knob on the bottom of the set you control the tv settings with (assuming you lose the remote). I'm just used to all the buttons being on the side. The ps4 and over the air digital tuner look great on the tv.

Simple but Not Well Designed

My used apple tv didn't come with a remote and I picked this one up at Best Buy. The simplicity was nice but the ergonomics was not. My fingers kept wanting to slip off the buttons. Fortunately, you can connect other IR remotes to the apple tv.

Pointing Accuracy is Subpar

The pointer accuracy and speed were not sufficient for game play. The click was not straightforward. In the end, I had to get the magic mouse for game play. It's ok for surfing and word processing but nothing more demanding. However, it's bluetooth connection to my macbook pro was rock solid.

Good Game But Not Challenging Enough

For a straightforward setups such as hooking the router up to a cable modem, this device works perfectly. For more complicated setups, it's actually better than other routers I have dealt with. However, the simplistic menu got in the way of more complicated setups. I tried using it a couple ways. First, I tried using it as a glorified airplay audio device in my car. My iPhone had troubles reliably hooking up to it. When it did hook up, it would drop out after a while. I think that was a menu issue. Second, I set it up as a wireless router for my parents who were going to get internet access for the first time. I did the simplistic setup to an Apple TV and my parents iPad. When the installer showed up, all he had to do was plug in the modem ethernet cable and everything worked like a champ.
