This cable works just fine, definitely better than the one way thin hdmi cable that insignia makes. I ended up needing a 24' cable though so it didn't fit my needs personally, but I wouldn't say it's a bad product at all. If 12' is all you need, then by all means get this cable, it works

This cable transfers in only one direction and didn't even work for my tv. To be honest I bought it without reading the package and assumed it wouldn't matter which end went where. After connecting it the right way it still didn't do anything. Might as well get a regular hdmi cable
