LG Steam washer & dryer work great. It's nice to have full sized appliances that fit into a laundry closet designed for a much smaller stack unit. We love all the cycles available on both the washer and the dryer. It actually is big enough to wash our cal king sized comforter in it. It is also much quieter than my old Maytag Neptune stack unit.

How long is the wash cycle?
How long is the was cycle for medium and large loads?
It varies. Some are around an hour: the steam cycles can be well over 2 hours.

Washer on the bottom and dryer on the top?
Yes, That is how we are using it. You need to purchase the stacking kit designed to go with it.
