I had purchased th 11 inch ACER R11 convertible chrome books for my small business and I find they are good little workhorses but when I found out there was an R-13 I jumped at the opportunity to try it out. I love the larger screen. Still has a very robust build quality and is roughly the same weight as its smaller counterpart. I liked it so much I ended up buying 2. There are fewer and fewer reasons for me to need a windows or Mac machine in my business. As long as it can be done in chrome, it can be done on these little convertibles handily.

Almost perfect computer for my purposes

I had bought the Acer R11 chromebooks for my businesses employees to run our web-based practice management software and managing most of our data in Google Drive. My only complaints on the R11's are that the screen is a bit small, and the device itself is a bit thick. It is constructed sturdily however and seems ready do withstand the punishment of being dragged throughout a busy veterinary hospital all day. Battery life is good. We can get through a 12 hour work day without needing to plug in but it is tight and we definitely need to charge overnight. It works well in both Tablet and Laptop modes. The versatility and portability are perfect for my business where we need to have access to a screen in numerous random places at random times. If You need a bigger screen Acer also makes the R13 (13inch) that I use. If Acer makes an R15, I know I'll be tempted to check it out as well.

if there's something to type on the screen in tablet configuration, do you have the capability to type? So does a keyboard pop up like on a phone's flat screen? Thanks
Yes a software keyboard slides up from the bottom to allow you to type when it is in tablet mode and if you flip it around into laptop mode the keyboard will disappear. Also the keyboard and trackpad are disabled when it is tablet mode so you don't have to worry about keypresses on the keyboard or clicking the trackpad when it is folded into tablet form.
