Picture quality is very to comparable to my Canon HG 20. Got it to shoot additional camera angles for interviews. Very little adjustments needed to match the HG 20 shots. Great little camera, very lightweight and compact.

Great high end consumer product

We purchased this mostly for recording indoor video shoots in a controlled studio environment. The various video modes in both 30fps and 24 fps are high quality for a consumer product. Although it does have a 3.5mm external mic input which works fine, it would be a great improvement to also have an XLR input as well. But for the money, it is a great camera and the video quality is excellent.
