Earbuds and Bluetooth are fine, but you cannot beat a real HiFi stereo system, even if you use it for streaming music. This Chromecast Audio connected to a stereo (or 5.1) receiver is a great foundation for a modern music setup. I still use and enjoy CDs and vinyl records, but streaming music via one of the services compatible with Chromecast (I use Google Play Music) to a 2 channel stereo receiver via this Chromecast Audio is a beautiful and simple way to put your digital music "out there". Buy it, get you a Sony 2 channel stereo receiver paired with some Polk T50 tower speakers (when on sale at Best Buy), and crank it up. You will love what you hear.

Best Chromebook I've owned

I needed a 13 inch lightweight laptop computer to bridge work and home. I purchased a very nice $1200 Samsung Windows 10 laptop but was frustrated with several Microsoft issues. I use Windows 10 and Office 365 a lot, so I know what's what, but these nagging issues and glitches popping up on a premium laptop, even when they were fixable, really bugged me. I have always enjoyed inexpensive Chromebooks so I finally decided to return the laptop and exchange it for a better Chromebook than I would typically buy, the Acer R13. On sale this Acer was less than 1/3 the retail price of the Samsung. It won't do everything I need, but it does almost everything I need, and when it won't I still have my larger Windows 10 systems...But the Acer R13 is the system I enjoy using. I only tolerate the others.

I owned a Samsung Gear S smartwatch that failed while under warranty, and since I believed that I may not want to continue with the new Gear S that Samsung was going to send me, I decided to purchase a Pebble Time on the same day that I returned my Gear S to Samsung for repair or replacement. The JBL Clip+ portable bluetooth speaker is a good speaker, and I have enjoyed it primarily for it's portability, convenience, and solid sound. The only minor complaint is that the battery life isn't great, as compared to another bluetooth speaker that I own...but that speaker is a bit larger, so that affords a larger battery. Guess you can't have your cake and eat it too, haha. Recommended!

Run programs on this 12.3-inch HP Chromebook convertible laptop. Its detachable touch-screen display lets you enjoy brilliant 2K content, and you can write and draw on it with the included Active Pen. This HP Chromebook convertible laptop has 32GB of storage, and its Intel Core m3 processor and 4GB of RAM provide smooth performance.
Does this hp Chromebook x2 fold all the way back to use as a tablet or just detach the keyboard?
You can either detach the keyboard from the tablet and use the tablet alone, or if you need to keep the keyboard handy you can detach the tablet, flip it around backwards, and then "close" the device. The keyboard will be concealed behind the back of the tablet, and the screen will be facing up. So, the screen does not fold around 360 degrees like a Chromebook Pro or a Flip, but when you do remove and reverse the tablet/screen portion and close it up, you can use it as a tablet without feeling the keyboard keys underneath in your hand. All of that being said, detaching the tablet/screen from the keyboard is a very nice experience and much superior to the other Chromebook convertibles.
