This has been a great purchase. No issues with setup...of course, I had Geek Squad do the setup and they were great. Also got the Geek Squad extended service based on my history with Geek Squad for previous purchases. Had an issue with a laptop a year ago while on vacation...dropped into a Best Buy and Geek Squad had it fixed in 15 minutes and on my way. Best Buy and Geek Squad are a standard for our family.

Do I need this if I have an existing dryer vent?
I'm buying a replacement dryer. Do I just attached the exising or do I need a new one?
No but make sure the old vent is clean before deciding. This one is very easy to install.
