Good speed, great range, but…

The speed is great, the range reaches the third floor of my house, but not being able to be consistently connected is an issue.
What I mean is that you'll be connected to the internet but it'll have intermittent crashes every 15 minutes (or less).
This can be an issue, especially if you're using it for the type of work that requires you to be constantly connected.
Not sure if I will use this for a while but it'll definitely serve in a pinch.

They didn't for me but I made it clear that I knew what I was doing.

They can guide you how to set it all up but, ultimately, it is your responsibility to make a Verizon account and activate the device.

Their instructions are really specific, though. So, it should be foolproof!
