Over-priced and under-sized

This is very basic speaker wire. No specs, just the Monster name on it. Although I'm not a fan, in this case you can do better at Home Depot or Lowe's. You'll get better wire, know its gauge, and where it can be used (in-wall, direct bury, etc.) This is for running from your receiver across the floor to your speakers a short distance away.

Add style to your entertainment area with this TV stand that features deep shelf capacity for storing large A/V devices and vented shelves that let air escape, to minimize heat on your equipment.

Easily damaged in shipping

I purchased this to go in a corner. The folks at Best Buy brought it out on a two-wheeler, standing on end. When I got it out, I unpacked everything to find what I thought was no damage. But the top comes out last, and sure enough, the "pointy end" of the top was smashed. All the weight of the box on that one corner -- easy to see why. Only move it laying flat or it will be damaged.
The good: It looks better than I expected. Wood quality better than expected. If the door hinges are put on correctly, you can put the entire thing together with no tools. Do NOT try and put it together alone, get a helper. There are metal locking pieces that will scratch the wood if you don't have some help to place them together. Ventilated. Roomy. Clear instructions.
The top and bottom pieces are assembled which makes it look nicer.
The bad: Mine didn't have enough dowels. Easy to make your own, but should come with extra -- c'mon man! Mine had two "right doors." You can flip the hinges over, but I kind of doubt the fit will be as nice. This was when we found the damage, so I stopped. The way it is packaged, you can only see it if you open the box upside down in the store. Looking inside, top down, you won't be able to tell.
There are two, high quality, solid wood pieces for the sides. These do not connect to each other or the inner side panels. Just the top and bottom of the unit. Keeping a flush fit would be almost impossible. I had planned to use furniture glue, at least, if not add my own dowels #already had to make my I own!# to make them stay in position. Or add hinges to the front side to make them doors. After all there is a LOT of empty space in there.
If you buy one of these, I would suggest you pay for the assembly service. This makes it almost $500. With this requirement, I cautiously recommend it. Still a good value if it arrives undamaged and about the only wood corner TV stand available.
What's great about it: Quality wood, roomy for components
What's not so great: Packing, Easily damaged, sides are questionable fit
I would recommend this to a friend!

whats the best laptop to buy for storing lots of photos?

i have over 5000 pictures that i need to store on a computer, and i am looking into getting a laptop, but i don't know what would be best for that.
For photo storage, which is really the only info you gave us, then hard disk size is really the only issue. You won't find a laptop with greater than 500gb right now -- and that's what you would want.

If you are going to view these photos on your laptop, then spend the money on the screen. Especially if you are a pro. Consider a big Sony.

If you are going to edit the photos with pro software, like Photoshop, you need speed. Get a dual-core or better processor.

If budget is not a big issue, look closely at the MacBook Pro series -- if you aren't already invested in Windows.

If you are not sure, walk into Best Buy and ask a blue shirt to show you "All the laptops with 500gb hard drives standard..." Then compare. Good luck.

what is better 500 gb and 7200 rpm or 500 gb at 5400 rpm?

7200 rpm. 5400 might save some power, but you'll sacrifice some in performance.
