This is a quality, user friendly router that is easy to set up and has a user friendly web interface and phone app. At first I thought the design was kind of cool, but it ended up sticking out like a sore thumb. Everyone who saw it told me it was ugly. I tried it out for a few weeks and had a few cases where it had to be rebooted because it went off line. In the end, I went with the much more aesthetically pleasing Norton core. They both protect my internet of things,are equally fast, and easily cover my 3500 sq feet living space. It was more router than I needed and too expensive..

Its kind of a pain

Granted, it extends the life of my original battery, but it is very cumbersome. It's really hard to attach and detach. You have to squeeze the casing very hard to latch it, to the point where you think you'll break the snap that attaches it. Several times it didn't work. The camera never turned on or turned off and didnt record. I think it was a waste of money.

My son had one of these at his house and I quickly decided I needed one too. It's easy to handle, quick to recharge, and easily picks up the mountain of cat hairs my dear kitties shed. Emptying the filter tends to get a bit messy with all the baby powder it picks up, but that's really a minor annoyance offset by the convenience it offers me. I can now easily sweep my stairs without lugging my big vac up and down. I use it in my car too for quick pickups of dirt.

Hotels and motels are notorious for having insecure and unstable wi-fi networks. If you don't have a strong, secure, stable signal, I would expect the camera to function very poorly. This isn't designed to be a portable device you take on the road with you when you travel. It's for a home with a stable wi-fi or ethernet connection.
