Saved me from purchasing a new monitor

New laptops are great but getting older, still perfectly usable peripherals to connect is sometimes a pain. This mini display to dvi adapter allowed me to continue using my dell monitor and saved me a few hundred bucks.

A switch is a switch is a switch. This Netgear unit is nothing out of the ordinary. Had it for a month or so and it has been functioning without a hiccup. It is slim enough to fit inside a standard structured wire box alongside a cable modem. A little more than I wanted to pay but I needed an 8-port version and this is the only one they had on the shelf..
