The vacuum/mop combo is a game changer

If you are looking for a budget robot vacuum/mop this is a great deal. To be honest I was a bit confused on how it was going to work but essentially it is an iRobot but with a small water tank in the waste bin and has an attachable micro fiber cloth that fits on the back half of the bottom of the robot. You do have the option of just using it as a vacuum only but there is no option to mop only. When running it with the mop function make sure you have the tank filled. The guide recommends cool water only which I was skeptical of but there are no streaks at all on my hard wood floors. I will mention that this robot just goes wherever but remembers where is been but there isn’t any way to block out areas like some of their higher end robots. I had to put a 2x2 under my entertainment center to stop it from getting all tangled up in my wires hence the reason for a star deduction. The mopping pad is shaped like a crescent moon so if it rolls over a wire or cord those points grab it and get it stuck. After “wire proofing “ my first floor I love it. I vacuum every day with a cordless vac and I was so surprised by how much stuff was in the bin. I also used a spay type microfiber mop, not anymore. This replaced my cordless vac and spray mop. So glad I got this!

Great Starter Scooter

This is my first electric scooter or any mode of electric transportation and I have to say I love it. I’m 45 and right at the weight capacity and it goes full speed at 15.5 mph, which feels really fast on this! When I received the scooter there is some minor assembly required which was a little frustrating however it didn’t take more than 5-10 minutes and it’s ready to go. It states it must be fully charged before riding the first time but mine only needed about 30 minutes of charge before 100%. The first time I got on it I was shocked how fast it takes off. I just hopped on and hit full throttle and it almost threw me off but eventually I got the hang of it.
The build quality seems very good with solid metal, plastic and good rubber air filled tires. The only complaint is the back fender seems a bit too flexible so if I were to step on it by accident it could break. There is a headlight and a beautiful display that shows your speed and battery level. I’ve rode it 5-6 miles now and it only shows down to 75%. I must note I ride with my kids on their electric bikes and they only go 8.5 mph so I’m running the scooter at half capacity. The ride is a little rough as the only suspension you have is the tires but as long as it is on a smooth road it’s fine. The wheels are a decent size but you still need to watch for cracks or bumps in the road or you’ll go over the handle bars.
Overall I can’t wait for summer with this. It easily folds so you can throw it in the trunk and go anywhere. The scooter feels like it should cost more so it’s a great bargain.

Super Fast! This printer prints documents in seconds. Even though it isn’t color which is fine by me it is way better than the printer sliding back and forth for 30 seconds before your document comes out. The app is much better than competitors and the scanning function is terrific. I usually have to send documents to my accountant and this makes it so easy. The printer itself is as small as it could be for a scanner/printer so it takes minimal space. It looks great and it is super easy to set up. Like some other printers that have trouble connecting to your phone/wifi this one connected on the first try and was up and going. It’s so nice to have documents print like they do at my work, super fast no matter how many copies you need. The documents are very clear and precise on the basic settings. Even though I have a computer, I print everything from my phone and the HPSmart app makes that possible. I would say for the price and if you want a black and white printer for your home this is a great deal. So far I have no complaints as it does everything they promised.

I’ve owned many of the big brand vacuums and this one is up to par with the rest with a few things I don’t like, I’ll get to that later. First, the box is very big however packed very nice. After unpacking, there are several guides you have to figure out which one you need to get started. Once you figure that out you’ll be ready to go once you collect all the accessories and put everything together. Not that there is much assembly but there is a bunch of extra parts and filters etc. I did hook to Wi-Fi and once I noticed both batteries were fully charged I tried it out. First thing I noticed was my kids had left some Cheerios on the hardwood and the vacuum sits to low to pick them up. I had to pick up and put the vacuum on the cereal to suck it up. I also noticed this with cat food. Moving to the carpet if you switch to turbo I felt it did as well as my upright corded vacuum. I did notice I only got about 20 minutes on one battery, you get two, on turbo. There is a slow speed which is good for dust and hair, medium is good for crumbs, and turbo to get the carpet clean. Besides the beater bar not being tall enough to roll over bigger items the suction is on par with other high priced vacuums. The charger / auto empty bin is (in my opinion) a waste. It costs more money, it cleans out your vacuum, it’s big, and you have to change out the bags. To me, emptying out the bin is very easy so the auto emptying bin is not needed. Overall, the vacuum is great but I wouldn’t pay for the fancy stand. I give it 4 stars for the suction and build but deduct for the stand, height of the beater bar, and price.

Martin Logan knocked it out of the park!

A-MAZ-ING. I’ve had these for a day now and I am impressed! These speakers replaced my ML ESL electrostats and although the sound is a bit different I like it much better. I am running these with a Marantz SR5010 which provides 100w per channel, ML Motion FX for surrounds, ML Motion 8 center channel, and an SVS PB2000 for my subwoofer. The power from my amp is clearly enough to power these at higher power, I haven’t broken the in yet so I’m sure they will sound better over time. I had my ESLs for 8 years now and was very accustomed to the electrostatic sound however these speakers give a deeper spacial sound with a better midrange which balances out the sound. What I like better is that I have a big sectional couch and with electrostats your “sweet spot” is much narrower and with these it is much broader which is what I need. I can say whether it’s movies or music I prefer these traditional type speakers. I don’t think they look as impressive as the electrostats but they are very well designed. The black gloss is very well done and I love the grills over each cone vs. a grill over the whole front. The feet are very well crafted and look beautiful. The one thing I would change, not that it’s a dealbreaker, is the whole speaker is piano gloss black minus the front. I wish they had carried it to the front as well. I think the ML logo is perfectly placed on the front. The packaging is exactly what I would expect from ML. Even if the worst shipper beat these up the package protects them. Just for extras, the speakers come with high quality dust covers and 2 large ML stickers per speaker to show off your brand. Overall, these are great. The ESLs are great but I believe these are better. Midrange is tighter, bass is tighter, and the 2nd gen folded tweeter sounds as good as electrostats.

This is a great bike! When I first opened the box I could tell the quality of the bike. The bike is pretty much assembled minus the handlebars and the front wheel. The great thing is that it comes with a multipurpose tool that has all the wrenches you need to complete the bike. From open to complete it was about 10 minutes. The tires were even inflated to proper pressure so after you charge it for the first time it’s ready to go. The construction of the bike feels very solid and durable. The seat had a quick release so it’s very easy to adjust.
When my son first saw it he was excited so we took it out to the driveway, he hit the throttle and crashed right into the bushes. To be fair, he doesn’t know how to ride a bike minus training wheels. For his next attempt, we went to a soccer field close by and let him loose. Within an hour he was riding it at full speed, turning, and he didn’t want to leave. He rode it nonstop at full speed in the grass for about 90 minutes and it still shows a full battery.
Overall I highly recommend this bike and as I mentioned it was a great way to learn how to ride a bike.

Fastest I’ve ever owned!

This router is replacing a competitor router that I had the past 2 prior versions of. This is my first Netgear router and once I got it up and running it works great. I have fiber at my home and the speeds in my house range from anywhere from 500-800 mbps depending on bandwidth. My last router deteriorated speeds up to 200-300 mbps every room away from the main location so I had to buy extenders in 2 rooms just to get my tv and sound bar to work. Even then it was unreliable. With this Nighthawk it’s not a problem at all. In fact, I gave away my extenders because the degradation is only about 25-50 mbps in those rooms. I’m not sure how the signal is so much better but it sure is. The reason I took a star away is because the setup. No matter what I tried it would not connect. After watching some videos online I had to modify quite a bit in my provider modem settings and finally got it to connect. The last modem didn’t need anything done in the admin except for shutting down the modem’s network and 2.4 and 5 antennas. This one does require you shut down some firewall settings and allow IP pass through. Besides that it is a great modem and the app is way better than my last. Super easy to navigate and it actually shows you what is connected with a name such as LG Tv or Bose soundbar not just an IP address and a name of “network device “ like my old one. Definitely worth the money but unless you’re a network or computer whiz it will take some troubleshooting.

This charger is absolutely beautiful. There isn’t much to talk about with a charger because it does what is says. After opening the box it was packaged very well and you could feel the build quality. It’s very heavy and very well put together. The phone charger actually has a fan on the back if it gets too hot however if it has run I have not heard it as it’s on my nightstand next to my bed. What I like most is that I don’t have to charge my watch with a long cord next to my phone. The magnetic charging is the way to go. Two less cords and again, this charger is really modern and cool looking. I rarely wear my ear buds so I can’t speak to that as much but my phone and watch are fully charged when I wake up. It also has a button that you can turn on or off that offers just enough light to locate your phone in the middle of the night. It’s no night light but again, just enough to wake up in the middle of night and find your phone. The only reason I took away a star is because of the price. A charger is a charger and even though this one looks amazing it’s a bit expensive.

Super vacuum! I will be honest I had an issue getting my phone to connect but some quick chats with support it works fine. The suction is by far better than any robot I have owned. It is also much quieter than my last one. I was kind of expecting to have issues after reading about it but as I mentioned, it didn’t take long to be off and running. My house was mapped after one run and the battery still had 60% left after cleaning about 1400 square feet. What I like about Neato the most is that it does the best job cleaning corners due to the square front. Also the brush roll is wider so that means less passes and done quicker. The waste bin also holds more than competitors. I have a short hair dog and I had no idea how much I had missed with my upright until I emptied the bin. I would bet even if you had a couple large hairy dogs the bin won’t fill up before completed, assuming you empty after each job. The app is very easy to use and provides great info. My old Neato had to have magnetic strips laid down to stop it from going to certain areas but now you can just add “stay out” zones on the app. For the price and performance you can’t go wrong. I also have another popular robot that was twice as much and doesn’t do as good of a job. Neato has all the same cool features but better and half the price. Great machine!!

Disco and theater in a box.

The idea of this is pretty neat. Opening the package you have everything you need to get started along with a quick start guide. Once you get it all set up the camera needs calibrated in order to properly identify areas of the screen.
What I like about this is that it looks really neat with the lighting behind the tv. Here is where I am running into problems. I have watched 2 movies and it does an amazing job of identifying blues and reds but for some reason with blacks or darker colors it lights up green. My second problem I have is the app is pretty difficult to understand. There isn’t any explanation of what each mode does or how to tweak the current settings. I’ve found myself just clicking through all the modes and settings trying to understand what each one does. I’m confident that I will eventually be able to figure out the extra greens and modes but for someone not so tech savvy it would be very confusing.
The camera isn’t nearly as noticeable as I expected and the adhesive is very strong. I have an extremely thin OLED and the camera feels secured very well despite very little to stick to.
The music mode is pretty cool. When it’s dark outside it turns your house into a disco with the built in mic.
Overall if I can figure out how to adjust some colors I will love this hence the reason I took away a start.
