Great hard drive no problems so far.

Good price for a 3 TB Hard drive. It worked on the first one I bought, which for 3+ TB hard drives is pretty good. I haven't noticed any performance issues works just like a 750 GB HD.
Only thing I can say is you can't use a regular partition, because of the size. But that isn't the hard drives fault and it is pretty easy to setup.

i purchase a WD My Book Essential 1.5TB Black External Hard Drive a few years ago and recently the usb port broke...
does best repair or sell the circuit board replace...
or guide me where i could have repair?

I am pretty sure Best Buy will tell you to buy a new one. If it is under two years old you can send it back to Western Digital, but if it is 3 years old I wish I had better answer :/ Unless you bought an extended warranty with Best Buy.
