These have clear sound and stay in well while jogging. The heart rate monitor works well, but once I get sweaty I do end up having to readjust them to get a good read. My biggest dislike is that you have to use the Bose app to see what your heart rate is and if you need to leave the app to choose music in a different app, the heart rate monitor has to recalibrate again before it will show. If someone already has a Fitbit or the like, the monitor feature in this model is not at all necessary.

Improved design except for one thing

I have had otterboxes on every iPhone and iPad I have owned this far. I still feel it is the best product out there in this category. The design aesthetics improve every cycle. One thing about the new design that I believe was a regression is the charging cable port cover. My last version for the original iPhone 5 had the cover opening from front to back, which was improved and more durable than the iPhone 4 version. Problem is they regressed back to a back to front opening cover. Even worse, from the first time I plugged in my charging cable it started to stretch the rubber just below the home button. My previous cases lasted around 2 years before the rubber surround was misshapen to the point of needing to be replaced. With this new design being brand new already stressing the rubber below the home button, I am all but certain it will take a fraction of that time to wear out. Good thing it comes with a warranty.

Durable without the bulk

At first when my mother asked me to get her the commuter series case instead of the defender series I was a bit skeptical. Having had it over a month now i have heard nothing but good things from her about the case. Still extremely durable, but a bit better for her hand size. Considering she likely won't be deep sea fishing or diving anytime soon I believe this will work just fine.

Slick as ever, speed not so sure

I recently upgraded my mother to this phone from the original iPhone 5. Being her third iPhone, I knew that design quality and reliability would be there. However, I expected the speed to be significantly faster. Unfortunately, even though on paper the 7 is much faster, in practice it is not as apparent to me. Even with the massive amount of storage and supposed processing power, I am still encountering the same problems with online actions going slow or sometimes hanging and needing to be reset. I am not taking more stars away from this phone because I am not able to say with certainty whether it is the phone or the apps that I'm using's fault. My wifi hits consistently at 30-50 Mbps and LTE hits consistently at 30-40 Mbps. The same major apps having the same problems (yahoo news, YouTube, Facebook, safari, ESPN, NASCAR, etc.). I find it doubtful that all of those major company's apps are at fault and not the common denominator (the phone).

-Value is not there as far as length vs price is concerned. The light strip plus is made just short enough where larger applications will require extension(s). At this price in addition to the light strip plus cost I'm not sure it's worth it.
-Connection point to light strip plus is good for consistent clean flat lines, but it will come apart easily if not stabilized so it won't move. If you need to bend a corner or go over uneven spots at the connection point forget it.
-Value is not there as far as length vs price is concerned. The light strip plus is made just short enough where larger applications will require extension(s). At this price in addition to the light strip plus cost I'm not sure it's worth it.
